1956 Chevrolet Bel Air barn find 283 V8 4 barrel carb power windows complete car
1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description
1956 Chevy Bel Air, barn find, last driven in 1972. Odometer says 84159 miles. Has a 283 in it with a 4 barrel carb, engine is complete but stuck. Transmission is a powerglide. Wheels all roll. Key is missing. Lighter is missing. Interior is all there but needs redone. It does have power windows which I have never seen. Not sure how many were built with power windows. The engine compartment looks correct and in good shape. The hood has been tweaked on the corners because of the hinges. Horns are there. Battery hold down is there. The trunk is very solid and still has the rubber mat in it. There is a very small hole in the spare tire well. Could be just welded closed I'm thinking. Rear trunk latch does not latch. Keylock for trunk is gone. Two pieces of glass are cracked. Both door glasses. All other glass is good. Rust in the usual places. Above the headlights is rusted. Right in front of the back wheels and the lip of the wheel well, so it will need half quarters. Floors are very good. There are a couple braces on the outside of the frame that are rusted. I do have a clear and current title for this car. I tried to tell everything I can about it. It is very complete and just a cool car. Please look at the pictures. I tried to get good pictures of everything. I have quite a few more pictures, unfortunately we are limited to 24. Send me a message if you would like to see more. Email me if you have any questions. Car is located in Correctionville, IA. Local pickup only. Full payment due within 7 days of auction end. Pickup of the car is negotiable. Again, email me if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!
