1974 Chevrolet Corvette Description

I have owned this car 20 years. It was a very clean car when I purchased it with only 82,219 original miles still wearing its original 76L Mille Miglia Red paint. Black leather interior, 454 engine and 4 speed transmission.

I had the car professionally stripped with plastic bead media and all bodywork done. The shop then sprayed it with four coats of polyester epoxy primer,guide coated then block sanded to laser straight.Then they final primed with two coats of Dupont 2K urethane primer. Now it just needs wet sanded with 400 grit and painted. The car has neverbeen in an accident it still has original panels with the exception of bumpers. The rear bumper is a new fiberglass and you will have to buy a new frontbumper.

The bodylinesand all door and hoodgapsaregreat. No rust ever on frame, inner doors or anywhere. Original interior is excellent. You will need carpet. Engine is disassembled for rebuild. I had the crank turned bought new bearings and gaskets but that was as far as I got. Four speed transmission shifts good. Power windows, T-tops and removable rear window. This car and all parts have been stored inside for the past 20 years.

I bought this 1974 "MyBirth Year" corvette when I was 21 yearsold with big dreams of building a show car, I am now 41 and have no interestor desire to finish the car. If finished right it will be oneof the nicest 74's out there.
