1967 Chevrolet C-10 C10 Description
Rare 1967 Chevrolet C-10 Stepside Pickup Truck, with original 327 HP engine, and an overdrive factory option! Although this Chevrolet Stepside body-style era was from 1967 through 1972, the 1967 is the only year with the small back window. This truck was manufactured in Fremont, CA, and spent it's life out West, until about a year and a half ago, when I moved to VA, and it is garage kept!
I purchased it many years ago while living in CA, and after restoration, used to show it at Good Guys Car Show in Pleasanton, CA, and have included a few pictures. This is a very solid truck, that only had only slight rust on the driver's floor rocker panel, before restoration. I located Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) General Motors Rocker Panels, still in original packaging, and had both sides replaced prior to restoration, which included countless hours of wet-sanding, and then painted- inside and out. The paint is Cherry Pearl, with alot of pearl essence, which changes color depending on the lighting conditions, as you will see in the pictures. Everyone compliments the color and condition! Wooden bed replaced with a new Oak Bed Kit with Stainless Steel rails/strips. The tailgate has the Chevrolet lettering painted with White Pearl paint. The transmission is the stock manual 3-speed on the column ("3 on the tree"). I did not want to cut the floor for a stick shift, preferring to keep it original. When I purchased it, It had used bucket seats, which I replaced with a bench seat from that era to keep it originally equipped. I did not install the Chevrolet emblems and lettering on the hood, as i preferred the clean look, but they are available form LMC Truck and are easy to add.
The door rubber moldings, heater core, glove box,and spark plugs have been replaced with new. The engine runs strong, and does not smoke! There are only a few cosmetic items that have not been addressed, as I have been unable to do so, from an injury sustained in an accident. There are some knobs/switches that could be replaced on the instrument panel, andthe center piece of the left rear wheel was missing. Wheels and tires are personal choices, so I left those that were on the vehicle, as purchased. This may be the only 1967 Chevrolet C10 Stepside truck in this configuration, let alone this condition! The bed has been off the truck, but it was not a total frame-off, rotisserie restoration. These trucks have coil springs on the rear, arefun to drive, and are a great piece of history. Thank you for looking, and good luck!
On May-15-16 at 20:01:43 PDT, seller added the following information:FYI- I transport this truck to shows, etc., and only drive it in and out of the garage to load it on the truck. Here are a few pictures of the engine bay and interior, as promised. Thank you.
