1964 Chevy Biscayne Bagged Cruiser w/rebuilt 250ci inline 6 & Powerglide NICE!!!
1964 Chevrolet Impala Biscayne Description
This vehicle is NOT an Impala however eBay doesn't have "Biscayne" as a vehicle model to choose from.
This listing is for a very clean 1964 Chevrolet Biscayne. I purchased this Biscayne here on eBay about a two years ago from Nevada. This Biscayne has always been on the west coast since new until I had it shipped over to Delaware. It was originally purchased April 4th, 1964 at "Courtesy Chevrolet" in Los Angeles. Its had 3 longterm owners which all lived in California who all took great pride in their ownership. The car comes with a 4" binder full of receipts dating back to the 70's which all the previous owners passed on to one another. I've added plenty of receipts to this binder...I've basically restored this car mechanically and have put about $9000 into it since purchasing.
List of all upgrades
Rebuilt 250ci. inline 6 out of a 1967 C10 pick up, bored .040 over, rebuilt Rochester single barrel carburetor, rebuilt distributor, new plugs, wires, points, condenser, ignition coil, rotor, distributor cap, starter, fuel pump, water pump, hoses, alternator, battery, belts, temperature sensor, oil pressure sensor

power steering pump, slave cylinder, control valve, j hoses, steering gear box
Airbag suspension with new upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, sleeves, shocks and alignment
Air ride kit consisting of an airbag at all corners independently controlled with four separate switches, two gauges showing each airbags psi, one gauge showing the amount of psi in the 5 gallon tank. One switch turning the compressor on/off. One small compressor and 1/4" lines which will allow air to travel through the lines slowly with little force creating a gentle up and gentle down motion. This kit is more of a "drop it low at the show" and "pump it up when you go" as there is only one compressor with a smaller tank and small diameter air lines.
Ridler 695 wheels charcoal and polished lip 18" and 20" with like new 225/40/18 and 255/35/20 federal zr rated directional tires, Boss spinners center caps, ridler bulit style center caps

pioneer CD player with remote, 4 2way speaker sound system
New matching carpeted floor mats, new glovebox, has redone velour/vinyl seats, vinyl door pads, dash pad, headliner and matching center console with storage and cup holders
Older Azzure Aqua poly basecoat/clearcoat paint job which shows nicely, the white pearl roof was recently painted by me (a professional autobody painter) within the past year, Von Dutch style pinstriping on hood and deck lid, blue dot Taillights/reverse lights
everything works as it should, two speed wipers, horn, turn signals, high beams/low beams, dash light indicators, dome light, Windows, heater, blower motor 3 speed switch, heater/defrost/vent controls, radio, keyed ignition, cigarette lighter, speedometer, fuel gauge etc... runs and drives great, sounds great, no leaks
About 1500 miles on rebuilt drivetrain.
Two known issues...surface rust in the trunk pan with no soft spots but does have a couple pin holes. This was caused from a dry rotted rear windshield rubber leaking over the years. I have a new rubber that will go with the car. Haven't found anyone I trust enought to swap out the rubber. I garage the car so it's not that big of a deal for me. My plan was to sand down the surface rust on the trunk pan and respray with factory style trunk paint after installing the new rubber. These two issues are the only known issues. I've gone through this car from top to bottom and this is all that's left to address.
This car shows nicely and is a blast to drive. Very easy car to drive with power steering and power brakes, comfortable interior with a lot of ventilation, great visibility and just sips gas! Many people would've swapped out the inline 6 for a v8 but that's what I think makes this car so unique. Very rare to see an inline 6, especially one as nicely detailed as this. Plus, reaping the benefits of low cost of ownership with its fuel economy and cheaper insurance rates not having a v8! Not many people can say they can go 300+ miles on a tank of gas in their 1964 ????? and win a trophy when they stop for a car show! So, if you're looking for a dependable, fuel efficient cruiser that grabs a lot of attention here's your chance to own it. More pictures available upon request.
