1954 Chevy 2 door coupe running driving hot-rat rod project
1954 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 rat rod Description
1954 2 door chev.
Was supposed to be a project for my Dad and I to complete, but life got in the way and we never got toit. Vehicle was inspected and certified in August 2016. Runs and drives without issue.
want to sell quickly so there is a VERY LOW RESERVE on it.
This 1954 is has a virtually rust free body, some very light patina on top ofthe right fender. Typical bumps and bruises for a Rat rod and a car that has been in storage. NO major dents, NO rust holes. Drivers sidewindow got cracked but is intact.
New interior, newer brakes and tires, Chevy Rally wheels
The drivetrain looks to be original, inline 6 with 3 on a tree... fun to drive. if never driven one, time to add to your bucket list. All lights / horn / turn signals / back up lights work as they should. Heater core is out of the car, but is available to be rebuilt (included in the trunk), Gauges were removed to finish the dash, but not reinstalled completely, (the are there, but not working) speedo works, temp works, but gas gauge and volt do not.
Very solid project car, that can be enjoyed today while you still add your own personal touches.
The car passed inspection, but I was still planning on replacing the rocker panels (inners on both side) and a few of the frame mounts. You can decide on your own if you want to do or leave as is.
