You are bidding on a well maintained 1-owner 2000 Chevrolet Silverado LT extended cab 4WD. The interior is in great shape for a 17 year old truck. There isonly minor wear on the driver seat. The other seats have very little signs of wear. The LT packageincluded leather seats with heated frontseats. Both front seats are full power seats. The extended cab has athird door. It also has the optional heavy duty suspension which I was told was the same suspension as the Z71. Ithas the tow package. The audio system has both a CD player and a cassette deck. The drop-inbedliner, tonneau cover andbug shieldare all in good condition. There are no nicks or cracks in any ofthe windows. The floor pans and the floor of the bed are solid. The truck has never been used for plowing and I have only towed with it a few times. Truck passes Ohio emissions test (E-check) andE-check certificate is transferable to new owner. I have a folder full of receipts for this truck.
Many of the new parts from just the past two years are listed below.
Other common problems repaired/parts replaced
The fuel gauge bounces around so it is not accurate.
A/C holds a charge but the bearing in the compressor is bad so I removed the drive belt for it.
The truck has been well maintained but there is no getting around the rustin Ohio. The tailgate has significant rust/hole on the passenger side. The rockers, cab corners and rear fenders all have significant rust and holes. There is some minor paint bubbling on the hood and both front fenders. The frame looks solid. I did notice that the support plates for the frame cross member near the front of the bed were invery rusty (see pic) but could easily bereplaced by someone who can weld. Driver side front fog light lens popped off but I have it. It just needs to be glued on. The truck was in an accident about 12 years ago and sustained minor frame damage. The body shop was able to straighten it out with no problem.
The ABS and Brake lights are on because I removed the fuse for the ABS module due to the ABS kicking in at low speeds. A common problem on trucks in the salt belt.
The check engine light comes on intermittently and when scanned it gives a O2 Sensor code. There is a slight lifter tick when the engine is started on a cold morning but it goes away once the engine warms up. This is common with these engines and doesn't seem to effect performance. The transfer case housing has a lot of corrosion where the two halves meet near the seal and was leaking. I added someRTV sealant and it still has a small drip when the truck sits overnight but I've been driving it for4 yearswith no problems.
Please email me if you have any questions about the truck or want to see a picture of anything specific on the truck. I set the reserve very lowso it should sell very easily. Please don't email me asking what the reserve price is. I am not interested in trades of any kind. PayPal or cash are accepted. No personal or certified cashiers checks.
The mileage may increase as the truck is still driven. Vehicle is sold "as is" with no warranty.
