1973 Chevrolet C-10 Description
1973 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe C10
To summarize it in a few words...
Loud Bad Ass Shortbed California Built Rust Free Truck
First and foremost I have a link with a TON of more pictures you can view at your leisure, also pictures of some receipts and original paperwork.
Copy and paste this without the spaces for pics - flic . kr/s/aHskQ57jgs
Everything works, I have the original steering wheel in great condition as well. Factory power brake truck with upgraded 1 1/4 discs from a suburban, Factory Powersteering, Factory 350 4bb, Built in Fremont - decode the vin - Has super rare HIGHLANDER bench seats ( $$$ seats only avail through 67-72 )
So obviously it has had body work done to it, no heavy bondo areas. the body panels and rails are straight as an arrow, original trim holes have been welded up perfectly. You can view the receipt of the bodywork and paint with paint code in said link above. New bumpers and new grill as well. The truck also has a camper that you can find in the pictures in my flickr link that will come with the truck.
*Minor imperfections along the bed railing from the camper (see first video) and on the driverside fender from the previous bumper scratching the paint (see first video) slight whine when the radio is on but volume muted (see 2nd & 3rd video)*
The 350 is numbers matching to the truck, however the heads have been gone through with a 3 angle valve job, installed a Xtreme energy comp cam kit, headers, exhaust, plugs, bigger exhaust all the way out back. I'm sure im missing some stuff, but the point is that its a mild build that is very streetable and perfect the way it is to daily or drive on those hot summer weekends.
New shocks all the way around, 3inch DJM drop spindles, DJM flip kit with shock extenders. 17inch steel wheels with new tires and a recent alignment, drives and stops straight as an arrow. I will be including the original spindles with the sale if stock height is desired, relatively easy to revert the truck to its original ride height.
Audio equipment wise, it has a new standard deck with aux capability, good speakers, and an amp for good measure.
Trans and driveline has been rebuilt as well ( receipts ) along with a shift kit, firm shifts.
The entire cooling system has been gone through as well, radiator, waterpump tstat etc... as always its in the receipts. Stays cool even in backed up bay area traffic.
I'm probably missing something, but thats the gist of it. It's a super solid truck, low, loud, straight. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across states honestly, it's probably evident that I love this truck and that would be true... but the time has come. I can help facilitate shippingaccommodations if needed and I can answer any questions you have as well, just message me.
Here are a couple links to videos, i'll try to update them with some outside view pulls.
