I want to go ahead and say that I am selling this truck because I have a baby on the way. I have another 1/2 ton gas truck that will work for now, so it's time to let my favorite truck go.
I built/replaced anything on this truck that it needed so that it will last. I planned on having this truck for a long time and invested lots of my time and money. I'm really bummed to lose the truck, but I will gain something way better in the end.
The 8th position of the VIN shows a #1, which proves the engine is a later LB7, not an early LLY. I routinely get 20-22MPG when this truck is unloaded and running on the Edge tuner's ECO setting. In my opinion, I would only have this engine or an '06 LBZ if I was buying a Duramax. There is no emissions crap on an LB7 or a Cat to deal with!
Extra's it does have:
- Edge Programmer - 5 settings - Eco, Tow, Stock, Power, Extreme
- 2 Opitma Red Tops - Brand new
- Trailer Brake Control Module.
- Super strong machined one piece Eagle Alloy wheels. They are not leaky, 2 piece BS.
- Block Heater/Battery Tender. Really nice to have.
- BFG All-Terrains - 85% life left on the fronts, 50% on the rears
- Line-X Bedliner ($800)
- Full Window 15% Tint
- Bose Stereo
- Tubular Side Steps
- Extendable Motorized Trailer Mirrors

The bad:
- Crack in the windshield (doesn't effect vision too bad). You can see it in the Tuner pic.
- Minor wear of the interior
- Center caps on the wheels have surface rust.
- Needs a head unit - This was my next project as it is a luxury compared to mechanics. Fully functional head unit, face plate is damaged.
- Drivers rear bed quarter panel dented upwards, behind rear tire. Tire blowout.
- The body has the usual scratches and scrapes, but I feel like it's in really good condition for 230K.
Most of the maintenance was just preventative.
This truck is awesome and has 150K of life left. I'm gonna miss it.
I have approximately 500 auctions to date and I believe that speaks for itself. I am an honest person and this truck is priced right. I would have no issue with loading up and driving 12 hours straight. Saying that though, it is sold as is. I am not responsible for your driving behavior once it leaves my possession.
Thanks for looking, JW
The truck is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. It is a driver for me 2-3 times a week and the miles will increase.
