2001 Chevy Suburban 1500 LT
2001 Chevrolet Suburban LT Description
I went out to start the vehicle and it had no oil pressure. I towed it to the shop and they determined the oil pump didn't work and suggested replacing the engine due to it's age and sound of bearings. Now, if you're still interested:This is my Burb. I bought it with 238,000 miles and used it for 2 years towing a 6 X 12 trailer from Maine to Miami to Nashville, etc. I lived in it and took very good care of it- except cleaning it.... Used Lucas gas treatment all the time. All maintenance was done professionally-Valvoline Express for fluid changes-done on schedule.Just did brakes. I replaced the brake system from the master cylinder back when I bought it. ABS is disconnected at the fuse box-dont put fuse back in unless you fix the ABS-It didn't work when I bought it. I'd adjust the emergency brake cable.Just put 4 new General Grabber STX tires- 265/75R 16, $600...The spare is good, but the rim is rusty.Replaced the fuel tank and pump a year ago. The fuel filter is rusted pretty good and the guys at Valvoline didn't want to risk breaking the line. I think we got a lot of the dirt out when we did the fuel tank.I used the 4 X 4 a few times and it was great. Felt like it was grabbing the ground and pulling me up hill. Good feel.I charged the a/c once and it almost lasted the summer. Heat is good. The key works manually only. This is an as is sale. No warranties, etc. Please look at all the pictures for details, identification, condition, etc..It's an older vehicle that was taken care of, but it will have the wear and tear for its age, etc..Local pickup onlyThanks for looking. My trailer is listed for sale as well...
