1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Belair Description

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND BID RESTRICTIONS BEFORE YOU BID ON THIS AUCTION. 3 DAY AUCTION!
1957 Chevrolet Belair, 4 Door, Black, Original 283, Automatic (not original trans). Clean PA Title in my name. The car was built at the Baltimore assembly plant. A lot of the car is original. This car is a project I started about a year ago and did not get very far because life gets in the way. Some of the photos make it look much better than it is. The paint looks much better in the photos. Make no mistake it needs a full restoration. I just don't have the time and I'd like to see her get done by someone well who does. The car needs the floor pans fixed or replaced on both sides, driver side rocker and dog leg need to be replaced. Inner rockers need to be replaced too. Floor braces need to be replaced as well. Trunk pan needs two areas replaced. I bought but have not installed a new factory rocker and dog leg from Danchuck (included in the auction-as seen in photos). Engine does run (needs a carb rebuild though). Transmission shifts, power steering works, brake pedal is hard...may be the booster, vacuum can or just a vacuum leak. Some electrical stuff works (headlights and brake lights do not). Seats are included but are shot and need to be recovered. Front bench seat could be used but is not great looking. rear seats are falling apart. seat frames are good to be recovered. Frame has a hole in bottom near the spare tire well (can be seen in photo) otherwise the frame is solid. Driver side doors have been taken off as well as gas tank in the photos but are included with the auction as well as any extra parts I have for the car. Doors are actually back on for the sale but are not adjusted properly...all side trim is there for the car but I have removed some as I was beginning the restoration. The Cragers are old and not perfect...the rear right one has a broken center cap ring. It's a great 57 for a project. I was going to make her a bone stock original machine but she could be a sweet hot rod too. Not hard to convert to a 2 door either since you have to do rockers anyway. Something to consider. Final sale to be paid in cash ONLY. Buyer responsible for hauling and pickup. Email with questions and I am available on the weekends to show the car and complete the sale and pick up of your 57 Chevy Belair :)PLEASE READ: 1) If you have 0 feedback please email me before placing a bid.I am sorry but your bid will be removed ifI am not contacted first. This is to unsure your intentions to buy the car are genuine and that youare not just running an auction up.
