1998 Chevrolet Corvette Description

I like to start with the bads and get that out of the way, no need waisting your time making you read through everything just to hit something you do not like.
BADS - Not a lot but there are a few:

Windshield motor wants to continually run slowly so I disconnected the wiper (will need repaired)

Driver seat does not move wire under seat broke (its in a very good place for someone between 5'8 - 5'11 (but can be repaired)

As with most Corvettes of this year it needs new window seals so the top will leak in areas (we never really drove in rain so wasnt a biggy for me)

Front turn signal hyperflashes not a biggy but just letting you know

Drivers door sticks sometimes (not always)

Windows rattle some (not bad but dont want to hide it)

Check engine light will come on at start up because the tire sensors are not in there but other then that there is not issues.

GOODS - which far out weigh the bads:

In the end of 2012 the cars engine, transmission, and read end were rebuilt (see pics), this was done at the Hot Rod Barn in Morris illinois. There was a mild
cam installed and all 1997-1998 bugs were fixed 100%, ENGINE RUNS LIKE A TOP!

At the same time I had a American Racing Long tube headers by passing the cats and going to Stainless works exhaust (this car sounds like a dragster at
take off and when you are crusing it is very nice with very very little drone.

I had a completely new braking system put on there with rust proof Baer rotors and Wilwood Calipers, this brakes on a dime (that was done 2 years ago).

Put new carpet, new stereo and new seat covers (Leather) in it last fall.

The main thing that everyone talks about is the crazy wrap that is on this car. Under it and as can be seen in the pics is a very nice black paint job which will
stay nice until you decide to take off the wrap. The wrap was done last year to make the car different in car shows - kids go crazy when they see it and if you
park in a lot expect to see the car all over facebook, its kinda funny. The wrap was designed by Scott Kepple to mimic the Semi truck from Transformers 4 at the
beginning of the movie (wore torn) and people get it right when they see it.

This car runs and drives great, since 2012 we have only put about 23,000 miles on the car, the tires are about 70% and you will love driving this car and showing it
