1962 Chevy Bel Air
1962 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description
"One man's gold is another man's silver". Well there comes a time in a man's life that he must part with his prized possessions. I finally realized that I don't have the time, spaceor money to continue with my semi-restoration project on my 1962 Chevy Bel Air. The car is straight, in primer coat, a few rust spots, new black leather seats and carpet. I recently had the 882 chevy heads resurfaced and calibratedto perfection by Dan The Cylinder Man of Delray Beach. Also included with the purchase (AND NEVER USED) are a brand new MSD ignition set, Coil, Distributor, brand new EdelbrockCarburetor (1405), Manifold, gaskets, valve covers, head gaskets, weatherstripping, hoses, clamps, and bulbs. New headers and exhaust. Upon inspection of vehicle while running, a small pin hole size hole was observed in the 7th cylinder wall. I have not had the opportunity or time to get that wall resleeved. Dan The Cylinder Man says it would cost apprx. $300-$400 for this service. Any and all additional trim and accessories are included with the price. Engine block number is 3970014, which was a 350 Chevy motor builtin 1972 for a Corvette according to the casting number. The tranny is a GM 700R 4 speed overdrive. Casting number 8642547-5. THM 700-R4. If this baby was in Chicago..."Garage Squad" would be all over it! I have all receipts and records. Email me for any additional information. Mitch.
