1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Post Coupe 210/150 , Roller
1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 The usual. Description
This is a no Reserv, real honest to goodness auction. It will sell to the highest bidder. There is no title to this car as there were no titles in Alabama or Georgia back in the day. I will provide a Georgia Bill Of Sale and can have a notary stamp it. That out of the way I will describe the car as best I can.I bought this car to make a pro street race car for myself. The body is 62 years old and it shows. Dont get me wron, it is not that hateful as these cars go. The frame is solid and suspension is there, the rear is a 10 bolt Chevy with air shocks and drum brakes. the front is original with the steering linkage and drum brakes. The body has the usual dents and the usual rust. Trunk has holes cut in the pan floors appear to have been patched. Front fenders and hood are not bad, the rear deck lid is all rust and bono but I have a good one. The front and rear glass are goo, I have several glass panels the sides but thew bottom line is you will need new side glass. The car has been painted with Nasson Chassi Black in true rat rod tradition. I was going to scrap the front suspension and put a straight axle with leaf springs fenderwell headers and buy some new lower panels for the rear with flared fenders to make a gasser/pro street car, maybe even tub the rear and stuff a short axle in. There are a load of spare parts including all the trim, a spare tire well, radiator, new master cylinder, speedo, etc etc, look at the pictures. I welcome anyone who wants to come look at the car before the auction ends. Alas a new business forces the sale of thi, one of my dream cars. Call me Gene at 770-258-3351 with any questions or to discuss a buy it now deal. Thanks for LOOKIN !!~!!
