1976 Chevy Stingray Corvette
My word to you whomever this transaction may potentially go down with, I will not break my word on any arrangements we make, and I expect the very same in return.
This car comes with a true "A" title, the gentlemen I bought it from purchased brand new with zero miles in 1976 and has been the only owner.
That being said, I bought the car for some specific things I needed and because I liked the title situation.
About two weeks after I purchased car I pulled car in shop, removed distributor and spun oil pump with a drill, put back in car...
Installed a good battery, disconnected fuel supply (didn't want to draw gas from tank that had been sitting for years) pulled fuel from gas can instead, hit key, and car fired up....
I didn't ride around town or anything but started it up, let it run a little and shut her down.There is no coolant supply hooked up so that's the extent of it. I know it runs and sounded pretty good, was actually amazed at how easily the car started.
The car has clearly been sitting for some time, which is why I circulated oil prior to cranking engine. When it came time to turn the key it only took a couple attempts and she came back to life. Didn't sound bad at all.
The gentleman I purchased corvette from said he was attempting to do some body repair and started to replace the leaking radiator, and just never got back to it. He was getting older and car sat for some time.
