115,365 Camaros were built in 1995, of those, only 9786 were pained dark purple metallic, of those, only 2853 were Z28 coupe's, of those, only 804 came with 6 speed manual transmissions, of those, only 177 had black and gray cloth interior, and of those, only 34 had T-tops. There is no further break downs between other options, but there is a chance this is a one of 1 built exactly like it. Needless to say, I doubt you will ever find another even similar! It was special ordered by its original Police Captain owner and kept by him as a second car (only driven on nice days) and garaged at both his parking garage at his police station and at his home. 2nd owner has owned it since 2001 and purchased from him and also used as a multiple, nice weather only vehicle. He was a retired Police Sergeant and kept mostly at his home here in Palm Springs and driven every week or two to keep all the seals lubricated. It has only been driven by mature adults and never used as a primary vehicle or beaten up. It has never been raced or to a track. He hand waxed and washed the car himself and it shows. It has never been abused and always was used as a secondary vehicle, hence the low miles for a 22 year old vehicle, and 90% of the miles were going between northern and southern CA. 103K miles is almost all freeway (and just breaking in for a well maintained LT-1). Oil changes on time or every six months, what ever came first. Transmission fluid, rear end fluid, power steering fluid, fuel filter, and Dexcool coolant/distilled water, thermostat, radiator cap, coolant tank, etc are recent as is the serpentine belt, hoses (including heater hoses which are often overlooked), battery, etc. Water pump and Optispark done recently and does not leak or seep. Car needs absolutely nothing. Nothing at ALL!! Hop in and go anywhere!! It runs and drives perfect and has no leaks, seeps, drips, or issues. The car from top to bottom is immaculately clean which is very evident, including underside, door jambs, and engine box!! A machine buffer or machine car wash this truck has never seen. No faded lights, emblems, or trim, like all the others out there. Most have chalky weather beaten trim, emblems, weather-strips and moldings, these are all really nice and still supple. Car comes with carpeted floor mats that have kept carpet like new. Not driven on gravel roads or in the mud. Underside alone speaks volumes about this Z28. I own a high end automotive shop that has been in business for 20+ years and am VERY particular with all vehicles I choose to deal with. Car has never been abused, mudded, raced, damaged or driven by kids, etc, since built. All original body panels look great and original paint is like a mirror. No rust, scrapes, dents, dings, scratches, and no damage on the immaculate, 17" American Racing wheels. Kuhmo tires have 15K miles on them. They ride very smooth and there is no rubbing. In my 20+ years in the automotive business, I have rarely seen, owned, or driven a nicer built and well vehicle that is so fantastically preserved and taken care of. I have owned over 1000 Mustangs, Shelby's, Big Block's, Boss's, Pantera's, Saleen's, Roush's, Cobra's. Lightning's etc, mostly collector models, and rarely see a vehicle (of ANY type) kept in this condition. Suspension and steering is smooth and not bouncy or twitchy when driving down the road, or on the freeway. Does not wander when on freeway. Camaro is appraised and insured for $17K on a collector car policy and it is $328 per year for full coverage and agreed value of $17K. Most insurance companies will do the same for you and insure it as a collector vehicle and it is only going to continue to climb in value if kept in this condition.
Oil has been changed every 6 months or 3K miles which ever came first. Only correct 5W-30 Mobil One synthetic oil used. It has always been started up and allowed to get up to operating temperature every few weeks, then driven around the block to keep all seals lubricated and to keep everything in operating condition when not taken on long trips. Always warehoused or garaged. Nothing leaks, drips, or seeps. No warning lights illuminated on the cluster. Everything works as new. No sweat marks, stains, smells, fading etc on any exterior, or interior. Seats are like new and have been covered with seat covers since new. Cloth still supple and smells new. Foam is firm and not worn down like most. It really looks, drives and feels like a near new car. Power driver's seat works in all positions. Carpets are excellent and covered since new. All lights work. In-dash CD player works perfectly with no skips or CD error messages. Great sounding factory Monsoon premium sound system from a newer Camaro. It sounds fantastic with no distortion and has plenty of bass. Removable clamp on pedal covers, the already mentioned later model GM Monsoon CD head unit, 17" American Racing wheels, and K&N cold air intake (raises HP to 325HP and 2 MPG better). Those are the only deviations from stock. ALL ELSE STOCK (other than preventative maintenance!! ) Never had aftermarket exhaust or cut up for non functional modifications. Never has had a tuner installed. Engine oil, fuel filter, rear differential fluid, power steering fluid, and Dexcool coolant and distilled water are all new. Tie Rods (both inner and outer) are recent as is the alignment. A/C complete flush, and orifice tube installed 2 years ago with all new o-rings. A/C blows ice cold!! It starts the first time, EVERY time. Tires have 15K miles on them and have plenty of life left. Revised Optispark and water pump done recently as was a stock GM replacement clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. There is $8K+ in upgrades and preventative maintenance described in this paragraph alone. Get a super low mileage one, and you will be replacing all this eventually. This car it is all done for you already, where there are no future worries. I am not kidding when I say this Z28 needs nothing. I am very picky of what I choose to deal with. No one else pays attention to the details that I do that sells collector vehicles, or spends the time to take the amount of pictures I do, videos, and description!! Original seat belts are not hard as a rock like most and still supple with original silk screening that still looks new. All retractors work properly too. Interior even still has the new car smell. You simply can NOT find one like this!!! This is a one in a million Camaro, hands down. Again, pay a little more and get a LOT more...I take the amount of pictures I do, videos, and write the small novel that I do on each and every vehicle I sell, so that the buyer can feel 100% confident on what they are getting with no worries or concerns.
Underside, and inside of wheels detailed and cleaned frequently since new as is the exterior and interior. Carpet has never been shampooed, spilled on, and still looks like new with no fading, or unraveling . Inside of car still smells like new!! Everything works like it is supposed to. No sticky door locks, broken switches, bad window motors, etc. Just look at the pictures, they really explain this Z28, hands down, better than I can.
This Camaro is impeccable for the price. No issues of any type. A/C works perfect. Heat very hot. Brakes and suspension like new. No transmission pop outs or noise, slips, or issues. Care has always been taken with this Z28, which is very evident in the pictures. It runs and drives as excellent as it looks.
Ice cold A/C as stated before. Does not run hot when A/C is on. I find I actually have to turn the A/C to a higher setting after 10 minutes even in 120 degree heat as I start shivering in car truck with A/C on full blast!! Belt does not moan or squeal like some do with the A/C on. Does not overheat even in 120+ degree weather. Coolant changed every 2 years with proper Dexcool coolant and distilled water, even when driven little and flushed last year including from the block. No exhaust leaks from anywhere like many have. Sounds fantastic with absolutely no odd noises or issues! Has never had an aftermarket exhaust, or tuner installed or been beat on like most. Has no problems starting in cold weather either. It is very powerful and sounds great with the factory deep rumble of the twin tip exhaust. Most of these Z28's don't drive as good as they look, this one absolutely does! This car is simple and easy to maintain and does not have tons of sensors like the new ones that go out and are very expensive to replace. You are basically looking at a near new 22 year old Camaro Z28 for 1/3 the price of a comparable new one with out all the expensive maintenance of the new ones. This one is going UP in value while the minute you drive off the lot in any new Camaro you've already lost money!!
Car is meant to be driven and enjoyed. It has never sat for more than 2 weeks with out being started up, let get up to operating temperature, and driven. This is very important on a any older vehicle. Beware of low mileage ones that have sat for months or years at a time that have dried up seals or the re-sellers setting the miles back in areas where vehicles don't get inspections. This is a car always maintained with an open wallet. This Z28 drives VERY well. No hesitations, back-fires, pops, squeaks, and is not all over the road like most others for sale. Looks, drives and feels like a new car. You will not find a nicer Z28 for the money!! It is truly immaculate. The suspension is responsive and tight, steering is tight, and transmission is tight with no slippage or clunky shifts. Shifter not loose like many. Anytime something needed attention, it was addressed right away. Never has been abused. Brakes are adjusted properly, and it stops very well and straight. Does not wander, shimmy, or have wind noise, even at 85 MPH on the freeway. There is not a nicer, low mileage, immaculate, perfectly maintained 6 speed manual Z28 out there for this low of a price anywhere! Never abused and was never a daily driver (even when new it was one of multiple vehicles owned in his collection of vehicles). All work has been professionally done on this car since new. Has been garaged its whole life and babied. It is very powerful, reliable, and nothing has been overlooked for longevity, tastefulness, and durability. 4 keys/ 2 remotes, owners manuals/handouts, etc etc come with the car. This Camaro is very quiet, and smooth even on the freeway.
You arebetteroff getting one of these cars that have been driven, properly broken in, and properly maintained than one with super low miles that has not been properlystoredor has dried up seals because of incorrect storage and maintenance. Nothing leaks or seeps on this car (even rear main seal doesn't seep) and it burns no oil. No smoke when you step on it. Again, car does not leak or seep a drop of anything. All lights, work like they should. Starts right up, first time, every time. Idles smoothly with nice deep exhaust tone. No hesitations or skips. Very smooth power. Gets great MPG too, 18+ MPG in town, and 27+ MPG on the freeway driving easy. If you set the cruise control at level ground it will get 28+ MPG!!
Brakes front and rear are firm and recent rotors (front and rear) and pads done 8 months ago as were the wheel bearings (Originals lasted that long!!). 4 wheel disc with ABS on all 4 wheels. Power assist works as it should. No shimmies, squeaks, or pulls when you step on the brakes. Parking brake works perfect and will hold car on a hill with transmission in neutral. Fresh synthetic fluid with friction modifier in rear differential, U joints tight. Transmission fluid and filter also just done and look like new inside. Both cooling system Dexcool coolant/distilled water new. Brake fluid also flushed and refreshed (every 2 years). As I said before, ALL fluids and filters have always been changed well before needed, as has all the preventative maintenance. These LT-1's are simple, easy, and inexpensive to maintain! Hop in and go anywhere with this car with no worries, unlike the others out there that will need money put in them right away.!!
Carpet, seats, and original console covered when driven. Ashtray and cigarette lighter never used, not even for coins or junk to mar the ashtray! No rattles or wind noise!! Car will seat 4 comfortably and rear seat back folds down flat for extra storage. Locking T tops fit in their special holder while still allowing trunk space. I know I keep saying it, you will not find a nicer Z28 for the money!! Look at the undersides on others for sale (if they even have underside pictures) they are usually rusty, oily, bent up, and filthy ( and sometimes people even spray can them all over the hoses, bolts and floor pans!!!), interiors worn and dirty, worn seats, thrashed trunks, and the engine boxes look awful with all aluminum corroded, rusty bolts, etc etc. Please take the time to look at my 200 pictures & videos (sorry about the wind in the videos) and you will see the difference between my Camaro and the others out there for sale. You DO get what you pay for in this case!!
Fully loaded and amazingly clean from top to bottom. No surprises or disappointments with this car. Purple Metallic Clearcoat paint shines like new and has been waxed regularly (you can literally shave in it) and always garaged. It is drop dead gorgeous. Much more durable and deep looking than today's water base paints. Look at the reflections (hard to photograph with the glare from the reflections, so I took some pictures in the sun, and some in the shade). Never been put on a lift incorrectly, never been bottomed out. Door jambs, engine box, wheels, underside, trunk jambs also kept clean and waxed. It looks like it was toothbrush detailed since new. It has been kept in this manner since new. Look at the underside and frame rails. Many original marking and stickers still visible on underside. Never a bent body panel, floor pan, or frame rail and never any body damage or paint work that I can tell. All original factory tinted privacy glass. No dents, dings, paintwork, or scrapes anywhere on the body that I can see. The only flaws I can even think of, most would never even notice...there are a few spots through out where there were very small minor chips that have been touched up with original GM match touch up paint and compounded, there is a scratch in the trunk jamb that I took a picture of that can't be seen with the trunk closed (touch up paint include with car), window motors are starting to get slower, but they still will go up and down all the way, driver's side mirror won't adjust all the at out so you have to push it sometimes, and car has typical GM rear end gear noise that you hear on every Camaro. There is nothing else I can think of that this car needs or any thing else to really consider a flaw....No accidents or paintwork anywhere on the body that I can see or know of. Once again, no dings, gouges, scrapes, or dents. Front and rear bumpers are immaculate with no dimples, scuffs, or scrapes. He had clip on mudflaps that I removed which kept the areas behind wheel wells perfect and a front end bra that I removed and threw out. You rarely will see an interior this immaculate. Again, I am VERY picky (I am told the pickiest person that all of my friends know) and believe in being 100% honest about each and any flaw or issue I can find and I go over vehicles very thoroughly. I know myself, that I want to know everything about something I am buying before I buy it, so I treat others in the same manner and respect. This car looks and drives like a 20K mile, 2 year old, well taken care of car to put it into perspective. The Camaro is nicer, drives much better, and way better maintained and kept detailed over any other Z28 with a manual trans out there in this price range. Everything works like it should. Again, please take the time to look at the 200 detailed pictures and videos. Car is very clean through out and a thrill to drive. Look at the others out there for sale, they don't compare to this one at all. NOT at all.......You get what you pay for. Truck is VERY clean top to bottom. Steering wheel look like new and airbag pads are not warped. Horn and cruise control both work perfectly. Lighter never used, and truck has never been smoked in and it still has the new car smell inside. All lighting in the gauge cluster and on switches all work perfectly. All power options work perfect. Power windows smoothly glide up and down smoothly with no clunks or skips. Power door locks work like they should and don't catch like most. 4 keys and 2 alarm remotes with no worn buttons. No wind noise or leaks when car is washed. Doors close tightly. Speedometer works perfect and doesn't bounce or stick like most. All gauges work perfectly and are accurate. All lights work both interior and exterior. Car just turned 103K miles, which is just breaking in for a well maintained LT-1 engine such as this one. This Z28 is cleaner and better maintained than any other F Body Camaro listed right now. Last oil change done 500 miles ago. I have put over 1K miles on this Camaro and there have been zero issues.
All lock cylinders are original to the car and work smoothly with no binds, including trunk lock. Look at how well all the body panels and windows line up!! All original trim, weatherstrips, lights and emblems are in excellent condition and not faded, chalky, cracked, or deteriorating like all the others available. Every correct clip, nut, bolt, rivet, plug, sticker, rubber bumper, etc is correct on this car!! This is not a clean up and sell, everything is as correct as possible and has been since new. Care, thought, a huge amount of time, passion, and attention to detail is present on every aspect of this Z28 and has always been babied, detailed frequently, and waxed often. This is a beautiful car and PERFECTLY balanced as far as looks, safety, economy, handling, braking, comfort, reliability, sound, and performance!! It is much more solid feeling than the newer ones, easy to maneuver and park, more comfortable, and does not have all the sensors, and issues seeing out of like the new ones. You will not find a nicer one for the money that is this immaculate and to this caliber of detail and pride of ownership! As stated before, it will only continue to climb in value.

I choose to do Buy It Now, fixed price auctions over regular bid auctions because many people put on their watch list, then forget to bid at the last minute, then are upset that they missed it. In summary: EVERYTHING works!! No burnt out bulbs anywhere, even the back-up lights, dash lights all work perfectly. Original owner's manuals, and handouts come with the car, as well as both sets of keys/remotes, etc. This Z28 runs and drives excellent and has never been abused. There are no odd odors, odd rattles, or odd noises. You can drive this car anywhere. Mileage may also varyminimallyas car may be driven for supervised test drives and/or inspections and I do drive it sometimes, but of course will still kept indoors when not being driven. This is not your average $8K or less manual transmission Z28 that you can find that needs $10K+ worth of work and still won't be as nice as this one. Why buy someone else's problems? Optispark, clutch, fluids, brakes, and suspension already refreshed, tires like new, all fluids new, etc etc...car doesn't need a thing. This Z28 is a no excuse, honest car, that needs nothing. It will only continue to go up in value if kept in this condition, unlike a new car that starts going down in value the minute you drive it off the lot. Vehicles such as this from my experience are a much more solid investment than the stock market. Clean Z28's have been going UP in value due to all the expensive new performance cars out there now. The nice ones have gone up 60-70% in the last 6 months and will keep going up in value when in the condition and desirability of this one. Remember, you get what you pay for, this Camaro does not need ANYTHING!! The paint, color combination and upgrades are simply stunning and the options make it a pleasure to drive and it turns heads where ever you go. The engine is amazing and has power to spare. People stop at gas stations and make comments on how immaculate it is. Be the envy of your friends and neighbors! No excuses, issues, or stories with this car.
