2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer LTZ Description

One of the few that has actually blazed trails
4.2L Inline 6
Four Wheel Drive
The Bad:
Needs Head. Previously repaired to correct damaged spark plug threads.
Will drive on 5 cylinders, but is noisy and not recommended. Flashing SES and reduced engine power.
Rust. It has spent all but the last year in northern winters
Bad driver side upper ball joint
Miscellaneous electrical splices and connections
Missing most light bulbs
Missing a lot of screws
Leaking oil - not sure if it is power steering or front differential fluid. (Front differential CV axle seal replaced 700 miles ago)
Two holes in roof from a previous antenna installation
The good:
Leather. Relatively free from excessive wear.
Front Floor Mats all-weather rubber with Chevy Bowtie
Corvette C6 electric cooling fan and Derale controller: saves time in future water pump and alternator replacements
Radio: LUX Bose which does not have chipped paint on the buttons.
Wheels: Remanufactured and installed in 2012, ST191 GM factory accessory wheels. (18x8)
Tires: Goodyear Assurance TripleTred, about 50% tread remaining.
Lots of extra parts including turned rotors, transfer case, A/C compressor, water pump, engine computer, drive shaft with new U-joint, ignition coil packs, instrument cluster, luggage rack with crossbars (See picture!)
Specially tuned engine computer optimized for non-towing, non-mountainous driving, eliminated P1482 SES light due to electric fan.
New front pads and rotors installed early 2016.
Magnaflow performance catalytic converter.
Plenty of highway miles, used Amsoil, tested regularly at Blackstone Labs. Currently has Mobil-1.
Very little sun damage.
Fully functioning 4 wheel drive, with G80 locking rear differential, 3.73 gears.
Replaced wheel bearings with Timkens.
Removed On-star (Old, analog type) including rear glass antenna.
Optima YellowTop AGM battery
New:
Water pump
