1963 Chevrolet Impala Coupe Description

This is a beautiful 1963 Chevrolet Biscayne 2-door post hardtop. It has a sleek, sinister look from front to back.
327cid V-8 with a fresh rebuild and cleanup. Stock internals with the exception of a Harmon & Moody cam with a 510 lift to give the car a mean rumbling sound. Holly 650 4-barrel carb, all black accessories under the hood as well such as, Edelbrock intake, Matt black valve covers, and black breather. Brand new aluminum radiator, with polished catch can. Black long-tube headers with a true dual exhaust lets all the noise escape thru square-stainless steel tips fitted on each side of the car just in front of each rear wheel. All new hoses, and belts. Firewall and inner fenders are both smooth and painted to match the car with base-coat clear paint also. Behind that is a fresh Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with a new stage 2 clutch and a Hurst shifter. All new clutch linkage from the petal to the tranny as well. The drivertrian and undercarriage is clean and free of any leaks.
The exterior of the car has been refinished with an amazing 2 tone paint job that's a deep charcoal grey from the polished aluminum body side molding down and the top of the car is a rich Onyx black. Both have a deep luster and show extremely well. Both bumpers have been custom fabricated, smoothed and tucked for a sleek, smooth look. Floor pans have been professionally replaced. The rest of the car is original GM sheet metal. All glass is in original and in tact and has been tinted to complete the overall sleek look of the car.
The interior is all new from the fresh satin black dash and trim to the new billet Steering wheel and fresh black leather seats & door panels that also have a custom arm rest that flows from each door panel to the back seat with custom inserts as well, and new-era correct, black loop-pile carpet. The headliner also is new and has been refinished with the same matching black leather with all new hardware. New Pioneer head unit was installed with usb-hookup in the factory location with all new speakers in the dash and rear deck lid.
The trunk is open and completely stock with the exception of a custom made panel to hide the 10" subwoofer and amplifier that adds to the stereo system in the stock spare tire location. Factory mats are in place and in great shape.The car is lowered on factory springs in the front and rear and rides amazingly well. It has a great stanced look that fits the car perfect. The steering is tight and the stock drum brakes work extremely well. It has a staggered set of black and machined, 20" Boss 338 wheels and Otshu tires20x8.5 in the front and 20x12 in the rear. Both with less than 1000 miles on them.
Over all, the car is an amazing machine that is a great cruiser and attention getter. It is not perfect and has a few blemishes here and there, as it is a driver and it is meant to be enjoyed. However it does have one pimple spot on the right rear behind the back glass in the usual spot for these cars the size of a pen head.(see pics) NOT a rust bucket by ANY means. The hard work has been accomplished on this car. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. Definitely road worthy and reliable.Everything works just as it should, all electrical has been gone thru from front to back to ensure it is working properly. It has been climate controlled-garage kept, since owned and never been in rain.
