1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo DE LUX Description

The car is a REAL 454 Monte Carlo SS, it came from the mid west many years ago and was taken off the road down their due to damage not any N.E. rust. Its has a rebuilt 1973 454 short block, correct 1970 heads with turbo 400, original 12 bolt posi, PDB, PS, PW very solid car with all SS original parts present... It also has buckets, console, a/c, the air ride pump is in the trunk and most lines and junction over the rear is in tact... I have all NEW bumpers, door panels, seat upholstery, carpet and headlinerthat comes with the carand NEW exhaust just installed .... The frame is great, the right rear floor ONLY has a few pin holes (water sat in it for years), trunk is great.....Recently installed new quarters, original nice outer wheelhouses, used drivers door and new left outer rocker skin.... I have new rocker moldings, another nice dash housing ( original one hacked around the radio area) and all trim for the car........This was a special order color so no designation on the cowl tag for body paint ( that means ANY 1970 GM color is correct)...... I do not have the build sheet, was going to look when I redid the interior but it also has the shock shields in tact.... I build three to four cars a winter and spend the rest of the year bringing in my 30+ projects and get them closer to completion (body, mechanical, interior, currently changing a matching 66 Chevelle SS from an automatic to a 4 speed)..... Its ok if it doesn't sell, I will finish it this coming winter and sell it early next spring done....This is a one time listing, thanks for your interest and have a great day....
