1963 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova Hardtop 2-Door
1963 Chevrolet Nova PROJECT CAR Description
This is a 1963 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova two door. I purchased the car from a seller in Sacramento, CA around 2005 and it was kept in the garage until April 2015. Between April 2015 and October 2016 the car was stored outside in Bakersfield, CA, in a dry climate, while I moved to Southern California. This was originally a 6 cylinder car with an automatic transmission. When I purchased the car it had a small block Chevy V8 with a GM automatic transmission. The engine is gone, but I still have the transmission, which is included with the car (I believe it's a turbo 350). An older B&M shifter is still mounted in the car. The V8 engine mounts are still in the car. The rear end has been swapped for what looks like a narrowed GM 10 bolt with 5 lug axles. The rear suspension is mono leaf springs. It has drum brakes all around and the front axles are 4 lug. The driver side floor is rusted through, but that's an easy fix, and the rest of the floor is solid and was painted over. There are some very small rust spots on the left front fender and right rear fender. The engine compartment is free of rust and was painted about 9 years ago. The front seats of the car were missing when I bought it, but the rear seat appears to be original and in good condition. The car is solid, but not perfect. It is a good candidate for a complete rebuild as a daily driver or a drag car. The car is being sold "AS IS" and all photographed parts are included with the car, even if you don't want them. Buyer will pay for all shipping/handling/delivery/pick-up expenses. Please contact a professional to inspect the vehicle on your behalf if you are unable to do so personally.
