2002 Chevrolet Camaro ss Description

Thank you for looking at my 2002 Camaro SS 35th anniversary.
This is an awesome car that I am selling only to pursue other ventures (home garage). This is a jump in and drive, turn key car. I would rate the overall condition of this car an8 - 8.5/10. Possibly higher to some but I am picky and overly sensitive about blemishes. I have records of this car dating back to new. I also have most of the receipts for every modification done to it. This car spent most of it's life in Florida with the second owner doing all the modifications to it. There is lists and records for well over $10k in modifications. This is a very low mileage, factory black on black SS with heads, cam, exhaust, and suspension for the same price as what the bone stock, high mileage cars are going for right now.

Below you'll find a lot of pictures I took of the car. I will list all of the issues that I know of the car. Most people won't be as thorough as me in this section but you will not have any surprises with this car and that is my #1 goal. I've bought a lot of cars that are presented like Barrett Jackson quality and show up full of issues. I sold 2 other cars over the years on Ebay and both parties said I was overly thorough with the negatives. If you have any specific concerns or questions feel free to message me.
1. The Sail panel around the top has the extremely common blistering paint problem. It needs to be repainted around the sail panel. There is a small blister on the door and it's pictured below. It looks way worse in the picture than in person.2. There are some small cosmetic paint blemishes here and there but nothing major. The hood and wing were painted new by SLP and the paint didn't hold up as good as the factory GM paint. Overall the paint looks great for being 15 years old and in the Florida sun for the first 10 years. A quality detail shop good with a buffer could make this car look brand new again.3. The dash pad (which costs $200 to replace) has the extremely common cracks in it. There are pictures.4. The Chrome rims are pretty much brand new as well as all the tires which ARE brand new. However, if you get within 2 inches you can spot some tarnishing in the crevices of the spokes. They may actually clean up I haven't had time to try. This was barely worth mentioning it's not really an issue to most.5. There is a rattle sound coming from the drivers front area. I believe it's an exhaust adjustment needed but I can't say 100%. These cars are tight with the Y-pipe around the pass floor area and that's where it's coming from.6. Not really an issue but some times the light for the ASR (Traction control) comes on. It's not an issue with anything rather the switch goes on and off. I've had three of these cars and they all did the same thing. It's not a mechanical issue at all.
That is all I can think of for now. I will update if I can think of anything else. Aside from those few things this is a turn key, drive anywhere, car. It has no check engine lights and runs smooth and has tons of power. The car is extremely quiet through the factory SLP Catback and extremely loud through the QTP cutout. This car has a great cam lope sound to it that many people recognize immediately. I have never dyno'd it but the combination is good for at least 400 Rwhp through an auto and Stall converter given the parts combo. That's close to, if not, 500hp at the Flexplate. The car looks incredible in the sun with the T-tops off and and the staggered Chrome ZR1's. These were always a tough looking car and this one is noexception.
Although I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car across the country due to it's reliability, I would recommend a trailer or shipping for your own good. It's a 15 year old car anything can happen.
Lastly, It must be noted, that I do not want my time wasted! I've done my best to not waste yours. The internet has become a playground for window shoppers and strokers. I would really like anybody attempting to purchase this car to be a serious party with funds in hand and ready to take delivery. Ask all of your questions, secure all financing, work out logistics and permission from your wife before committing to purchase. I will only accept a verified Cashiers check from a bank, Cash or a bank wire transfer. You can not buy this car through Paypal. Please don't ask.
Thank You!!!
