1976 Chevrolet Cosworth Vega 5 speed fuel injected Collecters Car
1976 Chevrolet Vega Cosworth hatchback Description
We are offering this 1976 Chevy Cosworth Vega for auction. 1976 was the first year Chevrolet offered the 5manual speed transmission and also the last year of production. In 1976, only 1447 units were built. The Cosworth model was aheadof its time with thetwin overhead cam, fuel injected engine, stainless steel headers, cast aluminum wheels, manual transmissionand 4:10 positraction rear axle with heavy duty front and rear sway bars. It also sports full factory instrumentation and an AM-FM radio. This is an original car which has recently been repainted the correct black. The body, engineand drivetrainare "original born"and in very nice shape. The interior is also real nice with only one smalltear inthe back seat. We did replace the carpets and weatherstripping throughout the car. The undercarriage is all original, floors, etc and looks good although it has never been detailed. It has been off the road for many years and we do not know much of the history other than it was aFlorida car. It would appear that the mileage on this car is original. The car runs and drives quite well. Probably a little detail and a tune up would be in order. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have. You can email or call us at 716-652-7086.
