From the outstanding Juniper Green paint (original color) to the polished oak bed to the stunning interior this 2012 restoration spared nothing. The body and paint are virtually flawless. All of the chrome looks new. A perfectly detailed engine compartment houses a rebuilt 235ci six-cylinder engine from a '57 Chevrolet. Use of this block provides crankshaft insert bearings under oil pressure instead of the original 'babbitt' design used in early Stovebolts. The 3-speed manual transmission utilizes column shifter. The interior is totally and correctly restored back to original. A comfortable bench seat is reupholstered in period-correct grey/brown vinyl. The classic dashboard holds a factory 'full gauge package' and the original AM radio (that works). Adjustable side vent windows provide cooling. Add the side-mount spare period-correct rubber stunning painted wheels Chevrolet caps and trim rings and you get the whole package. The current owner has pampered this truck for 13 years.
