Rare 1940 Chevrolet coe GMC
1940 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description
Selling my 1940 Chevrolet Coe. These are getting hard to find. This one was from a New Jersey Potato Farm I was told. Still have owners name on side of truck. Back right wheel is almost locked up. It will nearly turn. When I bought the truck it ran. I have not attempted to crank it since I bought it. I took the gas tank off to clean it but that all I have done to the truck. It has not been put back on. Front right fender has some damage. I have included a spare fender I found on a 1939 Chevy coe. The front of truck and in interior are pretty solid. No rust holes in floors. The old wood engine covers are missing but those can be made. Inside of doors are solid. The is a dent in back of cab and some through on the seam of back of cab. Passenger side cab corner has rust through and the panel that the steps mount too are rusty. Passenger side is better than drivers side. I included a photo of some step panels I got off 1939 coe parts truck that go with truck. The steps are solid. Seat has been covered before I bought it. The windshield frame has rust. Truck has flat bed frame. Needs new wood if you decide to use it. Truck is about 18 ft long. I have tried to capture condition of truck with photos and description. If you want more photos or have questions give me a call 706 768 0022
