2014 Chevrolet Camaro RS 2SS SS 1LE
2014 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS RS 1LE Description
I am selling my 2014 Camaro RS 2SS 1LE. For those who don't know, the 1LE is a limited options package meant to make the car 'road course' worthy. It includes a better suspension, different transmission and axle ratios, better wheels and tires, red brake calipers, black wrapped hood, and suede steering wheel and shift knob. These are all factory.
As the Super Sport (SS) model, it comes with the 426 HP 6.2 liter V-8. By virtue of being a 2SS, this car also has the color head's up display, better center info screen, and theauxiliarygauge package in the center console. By being an RS, it also has the better headlights (including the LED halos), better taillights, and color matched antenna on roof. As you would expect with this caliber car, it has power everything, including windows, seats, locks, keyless entry, etc. It comes with the factory floor mats, which look new.
This car also has the optional factory navigation with the Chevrolet MyLink system, dual mode exhaust, and power moon roof.
Condition: I am the original owner (43 years old), and I have babied this car. It has never been tracked, raced, or tuned. It is stored during the winter under a soft, quality cover (which is included in the sale) with battery tender and never driven in bad weather. It is kept clean and only the best fluids are used. I'm that guy who keeps a 4 second following distance just to mitigate the chances of rock chips :). It currently has Pennzoil Full Synthetic Platinum motor oil, Redline Transmission Fluid, and Amsoil axle oil, all of which help insure maximum protection to the car's internals. Before storage last fall, I had the paint professionally detailed to remove any micro swirls.
This car has not been tuned and includes the balance of the full bumper-to-bumper warranty. The only warranty work done on the car was to change a tire pressure sensor and receiver. IT HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT, has had no paint work, and it has a clear Carfax.
As you can see in the pictures, it has some small, tasteful modifications. These include blacked out bowties on the front and rear (high quality painted Empire bowties, not cheap wrap), tinted windows, rubber 'Camaro' trunk mat, front and rear splash guards, Treadwear white letters on the tires, and a rubber 'Camaro' trunk mat. Under the hood, it has a custom painted engine cover, custom painted strut tower bar, and custom painted fuse box cover - all of which are 'paint matched' to the car. It has a paint matched RX oil catch can connected via black braided hose and ANS fittings for a clean, professional look. It also has a Z28 intake, and the factory 1LE clean side oil separater has been modified to fit cleanly into the Z28 intake using black braided hose. All of these under-hood items can be returned to stock if you prefer. I will include the original intake, engine cover, fuse box cover, and PCV line (to go where the oil catch can is now, should you choose to remove it). I do not have the original, unpainted strut tower bar, but they can be found cheap. I have also separated the brake and clutch fluid using a GTO clutch reservoir. This ensures the clutch dust does not contaminate the brake fluid, and it could also be easily returned to stock form if you wish.
I have also installed a skip-shift eliminator to keep the car from forcing you to upshift from 1st to 4th to save gas. It can easily be removed, if you wish. I have also upgraded the shifter to an MGW shifter, which is the best on the market and a substantial upgrade to the factory shifter. As you can see, I went with the option to keep the factory knob and boot, so it looks completely stock while giving you the crisp, clean shifts of an MGW. I used extra dynamat underneath the console to mitigate any noise increases from the shifter change. I do not have the original shifter.
Again, this car is in amazing condition, and it has been a garage queen since I bought it in July 2014 with 11 miles on it. It needs nothing and has nothing wrong with it. Even the brake rotors still look brand new. It includes the maintenance paperwork where applicable and the original window sticker.
A good faith deposit of $500 is due via Pay Pal immediately upon auction's end. The remainder of the payment is due via cash or other confirmed funds before vehicle will be released. The title is free and in my possession. I can ship the car at buyer's expense after payment is received in full.
Bid with confidence, as I take my eBay responsibilities seriously. My only negative feedback is from a guy making up a story about a computer router I sold him -- and he didn't even attempt to resolve the matter before leaving the feedback. If seriously considering this car, feel free to message me and we can also talk by phone. Feel free to ask questions!
