This 1970 El Camino started out life as a base truck, not a SS. It was totally disassembled, body off and re-assembled. It has a GM counter LS7 engine coupled with a Richmond 6 speed transmission, functional cowl induction hood and what is believed to be a 3:73 positraction rear end. It also has power steering and power brakes. The estimated HP is in the 550 range. This truck is not for the faint of heart. It idles at about 1200 rpm. The truck settles down once the speed reaches the 50 mph range and it is in 5th gear. The body and paint are in excellent condition considering it was restored several years ago. The truck comes with many receipts and some pictures during the restoration. This is truly a very nice, needs nothing truck. The frame is solid with no damage. Paint is BC/CC. Inspections are encouraged.
