79 CHEVY CAMARO BERLINETTA 56K ORIG MILES 350 4BBL AT
1979 Chevrolet Camaro BERLINETTA Description
You are looking at a 79 Camaro Berlinetta. 56,000 original miles. Adault owned and garage kept. LM-1 code 350 4bbl and automatic trans. Here’s some history. Bought new at Ritter Chevrolet in Schuylkill Haven (now called R&R) by a denist for is daughter. In 1980, she wanted something else and a local woman bought it. She had it repainted in the early 90s and always kept it in her garage. In 1997, she had a health issue and was no longer able to drive. She would start it from time to time. She loved the car dearly but finally decided it needed a new home. I purchased it last summer. We drained and cleaned the fuel tank and replaced all the fluids. We then added a NEW battery, fuel pump, starter, lower grill, head liner, visors, air shocks and a few other trim parts. The brakes looked and work fine. The factory dual exhaust still solid. The car drives great. It holds the road nice and is a tight driver. The bone stock, all original, numbers matching 350 has plenty of power. Everything (other than the tach) works as it should. The rear window louver is a rare GM accessary item. The floors, trunk, frames are all solid. There are a few bubbles in the paint but overall, still looks great. The black interior shows no ware and looks like a 56K mile interior. The original Berlinetta wheels and tires are included (they look like the one in the trunk picture). This car will pass a Pa state inspection but is eligible for Antique tag which is once and done (no inspections or pictures required). It is hard to find a nice, survivor 2nd Gen Camaro that hasn’t been messed with. This one is clean and original and priced right. It will be a reliable cruiser that looks great and will cost less than $10K. Dave 570-527-3450
