2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS Description

Up for sale is a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS Automatic with a little over 40,000 miles, tastefully modified.

I bought new in October 2009, and pretty quickly set about making some alterations. Has had no accidents, no dings and is a garage queen. All services carried out by me with Amsoil to start, then moved to Royal Purple HPS after engine mods. Everything functions as it should.

Performance mods:

She has an R2C performance cold air intake system to breathe a little easier, and Kooks stainless steel headers and high flow cats mated to a Solo Mach XL cat back system with J-Pipes (removes any drone in the cab). The sound is awesome, that great cracking sound when opened up, but also quite quiet inside the car when driving - I've had no problems on a 250 mile run. In 2012 Pretty extensive engine mods to give it that old school lumpy idle. A fairly aggressive comp cam installed with new GM lifter pack, hydraulic rollers, chrome alloy push rods, valve spring kit, DoD/VVT delete kit, and of course a tune (the ECU/tune is unlocked) At the same time a Circle-D 2800 stall triple disk torque converter was fitted. This combination takes it 425HP to the rear wheels at 6100 rpm. It was custom tuned with the above modes. The ECU is unlocked, so if you want to dabble, change rev limiters (I have it factory set) change tranny shift points, line pressures etc, knock yourself out. It has never been on the track or raced so no idea about track times. As far servicing, you won't find anything on Car fax. I have done all oil services. Started with Amsoil before engine mods, and then moved to Royal Purple HPS after. It also has an oil catch can and some interior engine compartment 'dress-up' pieces

Exterior:

Front to back: I fitted ACS ports in place of the round fog lights and the eagle eye LED's. It has a 'splitter' (this could do with being replaced.) Replaced the original grill with color coded heritage grill and the front chevy emblem was color matched and carbon fiber vinyl over bow tie. The hood has functional cut outs and grills with internal drip trays to take the water away from the engine. Original side skirts changed out for color matched ZL1 side skirts. I replaced the rear air dam with a ZL1 rear end, and custom built the back end of the exhaust with dual tips. The rear chevy emblem was painted black and the bow tie color matched. Rear lights have dark tint. It has been lowered (approx. 1 ½ inches) with Eibach springs, bushes timed and full alignment performed afterwards. At the same time it was on stands, I had the brake calipers powder coated yellow, and the rims powder coated satin black. Has about 6 tiny small stone chips around the body, I just haven't touched them. I have also just replaced front rotors and pads.

I don't know 0-60, ¼ mile track times or how fast it goes. Tires are probably at 60% tread.

Interior:

The inside is literally like new. It will come with a passport 8500 properly wired. All blue LED's fitted and blue LED tubes under the drivers and passenger side dash that comes on with door opening/off closing. All side and rear windows have a 20% dark tint

Why am I selling?

Even though my lad wants me to keep it (he's near 15, and thinks it will be his soon....) It's time to move on. I've owned it over 7 years, and had the fun with my tinkering; I'm looking for an older classic to tinker with now. It does literally sit in the garage and has some weekend use.

Bonus - if you live in Florida, and if you know how, I will transfer the unique tag - '5TH GEN' representing the 5th Generation Camaro for a small fee - the cost for me to get a new tag.

Sales T's and C's

You are welcome to any inspection, in fact I would prefer it, or come in person. Purchase by cash or cashier's check, or wire transfer, got to clear first. I'm too bloody old, and my misses would say impatient for any dodgy shenanigans - like ship to Nigeria and I'll give you a million dollars when i get it.... No trades and of course, no warranty. I don't do financing, I am a private seller. I am also in no hurry - it's all bought and paid for, so no daft offers please. I will help ship if you need, and coordinate with shippers.

Questions welcomed, conversations over the phone encouraged, and I can even walk you around the car by live video link.
