1958 Chevrolet Corvette Original Matching Numbers Engine / Both tops No Reserve
1958 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Description
This auction is for my 1958 Corvette. It was a barn find and has been setting for years. It is a project I do not think I will get to, so I am selling it as is with no reserve. I have never attempted to get it running. It has its original Matching Numbers motor and is not locked up. All I have ever done to the car is roll it out of barn and into my storage building. I have no idea what all it needs. I have quite a few parts that go with the car . I have the original hubcaps and the grill and grill teeth. I do not have the trunk spears. Again this is a Matching Numbers project, don't bid if you are looking for a perfect running car. No rust out in the frame and body is in very good condition. Car has both the hardtop and soft top but I have never raised the soft top and assume the canvass will need replaced. Shifter does not look original. These are near impossible to find with the original motors. Buyer is responsible for pickup and delivery of the car. Payment must be made in full within seven days of auction ending but I can keep it stored inside for up to 30 days if someone needs time to arrange shipping. I am not the original owner of the car so I will not be able to answer questions about the history of the car. I encourage anyone close enough to come see the car. Just email me and we can make arrangements for you to see it. If you are looking for a single axle Corvette project, this is it because you are starting off with a Matching number Engine.
