The Above articles are from the original build, detailing some of the work performed in the 1990 version of this special Street Rod. This is from Hot Rod magazine, circa 1992.

This powerplant is a balanced & blueprinted 383 topped with a polished 6.71 blower & all the goods, making around 600 dyn0-verified horsepower. This is a NEW engine by BluePrintEngines.com, well-known performance engine specialists. The engine compartment showcases the custom-formed and rolled sheetmetal firewall along with the chrome & polished aluminum dressed stroker smallblock Chevy V8. This engine is paired with a fresh built TH400 3-speed automatic with an mild stall converter. All of this power transmits to a newly built Ford 9-inch with 3.73 gears & an Auburn Posi to make turning more civil on the street. Again, be sure to play our street video of this beautiful 50 Chevy in action.

The body has a number of modifications. To being with, the door handles, badges and brightwork have been shaved in a nod to 1950's customization favorites.
1/8-inch tubing was used to form & French-in the headlights, front spoiler, side scoops, and hood opening as well as to roll the rear fender lip below the taillights. The steel side spoilers are hand-formed. A master fabricator was responsible for this special bodywork. The car was featured in Hot Rod magazine in its original configuration. Really the only thing not newly done on this car is the wheel combination.
The body is very straight and in excellent condition as is the paint. The paint is high quality House of Kolors base/clearcoat & very well done. Over $3,000 was spent on the paint material alone before the car was touched.

The interior is spartan and all-business. Custom Aluminum panels abound along with simple gauges for voltage, water temp, oil, engine revs, and & vintage Stewart Warner Speedometer. The custom steering wheel and basic two-tone green & black racing buckets were recently added. This is a tight, old-school interior.

Check out the custom polished stainless work in the trunk & tub in the trunk.
The differential was completely built along with the engine & transmission recently. Very few miles have been logged on this combination. This car has been driven on the street, not raced.

The undercarriage showcases the custom chassis work, from the narrowed 9-inch to the narrowed Camaro front clip. Coil-Over shocks has been fitted as well. I cannot stress the quality of fabrication work! This one was built right and it goes down the road straight and true.
