1983 Chevrolet C-10 SCOTTSDALE Description

1983 Chevrolet C10 Scottsdale 2wd long box pickup, Dual Gas tanks!

Body/Chassis

The first thing you will see whether in the photos or in person is the fact that this truck has no rust. It is extremely solid and has held up better than most due to the fact it spent most of its life en Eastern Washington which is very dry. The body is very straight as is the bed and free from any major dents. There are few very minor dings here and there but you really have to look hard to find them. The paint is in excellent condition. I am not sure if it is original, but it is the original color. The moldings and chrome are all excellent. The windshield has a few cracks, but none that effect drivability. The tires are nearly new and have less than 1500 miles on them.

Interior

The interior is complete, and doesn’t appear to have any types of water leaks. The seat is original, and decent but has a tear on the driver’s side. The factory rubber mat is complete, but has seen better days. All of the interior lights, windows, radio (CD) work as they should. All of the gauges function properly with the exception of the temp gauge that just went out. If I find a good factory replacement prior to the end of the auction, I will include it in the sale. All of the rubber seals appear soft and functional. All of the seat belts are intact and functional.

Engine/Transmission/Brakes

Based on service records the mileage appears to be original at approximately 134k. The transmission was rebuilt about 700 miles ago. The power brakes work smoothly and properly. The power brakes work as they should. The power steering can be operated with a single finger. All of the wiring is in good shape and appears to be factory. The factory 5.0 liter engine runs smoothly. It has a mild performance cam, and a new factory quadrajet as originally equipped. The carb and electric choke may need some adjustment for your liking, altitude, and weather. What is great is this truck does not appear to leak any fluids accordingly to my driveway, nor does it burn oil. The exhaust system is original, and the tailpipe has some holes in it past the muffler so it is still quiet.

History

I purchased this truck from a family whom purchased the truck in Sunnyside, WA from the local Chevrolet dealer in 1984. It was used on an Asparagus to get from point A to B, which is probably why it is in such good shape because it has never been abused. The truck was transferred to the Seattle area approximately a few years ago. Since purchasing the truck, it has served me well. With a recent addition to my family, I now have to sell, but I am sure the new owner will be as pleased with it as I have been.

Shipping/Misc. information

The truck runs and drives, and can be loaded on a car hauler without issue. Car shipment/delivery is the buyers responsibility and must be picked up within 14 calendar days. The tabs are currently expired. The truck will come with an affidavit of loss title, signed/notarized. The truck has a clear/clean title that has simply been misplaced. If I am able to locate it before the end of the auction, it will be signed and included versus the affidavit. As with any used vehicle, it is sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied. I have done my best to give the most accurate information possible. There are no returns, or refunds. I accept paypal, bank transfer or cashiers check only. 500.00 non-refundable deposit required within 24 hours of the end of the auction.
