2004 Chevrolet Corvette Commemorativer Edition Z06 Description

The 2004 Commemorative Edition Z06 Corvette celebrated the Corvettes racing historic at Le Mans 24 hours victories.The 2004 Commemorative Edition Z06 features a carbon fiber hood, grafics on the hood and rear. There were only 2659 Commemorative Editions produced. The special edition Z06 benefited from the continual pursuit of performance enhancements. The GM engineers refined the suspension and shocks for improved handling. The car has all the power options and also has the Heads Up option. The car is stock with the exception of a by pass option intstalled. This allows the driver to shift through the gears normally, instead of going from 1st to 4th gear. This was GMs idea to save fuel consumption. It was a pain in the butt!I also had the the steering lock out device installed so that the cars steering wouldnt accidently get locked and the car had to be towed to the dealer to be unlocked.The tires are original without any defects but will probably eventually have to be replaced. If I was to keep the car, I would drive it for a few thousand more miles.The owner before me was a senior citizen like myself. I am selling the car because I have had two back operations and may have to have a third. It is very difficult to get in and out. I will miss the car but there isn't much I can do about it.
