1987 Chevrolet C-10 Silverado Description

I have an exceptional 98% original and untouched 1987 Chevrolet C10 Short Bed Square Body. This was the mack daddy of trucks back in the day and is highly optioned out. You can see in the ID card it is almost maxed out. This has been a original one owner truck up until a few years ago. I got it from thethird owner who only wanted to sell it to by a nice 57 and couldn't afford both. Been a Southern truck its whole life and has been mostly garage kept and babied, and you can tell. You will be hard pressed to find another one as clean as this one that hasn't been touched muchand tried to hide stuff, and for what I'm asking compared to others on here I think its a great buy. Truck has a clean South Carolina title ready to go.

Drivetrain:

All original numbers matching sbc 350 that cranks easy and purrs like a kitten. It is fuel injected (first year).Does not leak or smoke anything. It is backed by a 700r4 overdrive transmission that shifts extremely smooth. I would personally drive this truck anywhere anyplace at anytime. It also has 2.73 gear put in it for better highway driving rpm wise. It is an absolute dream cruiser. 130,000 actual miles, I'm not going to claim it has 30 just cause it doesn't roll over. Plenty on here do that when it really has 100 or more than what they're saying.

Interior:

Nothingneeded in interior at all, all gauges work, dome lights, AC blows cold and heat works, dual tank switch works. Seat and carpet is in good shape. Seat has some wear and a small rip in the cover on drivers side. Power windows work as well as power locks. Original radio still works but just recently started randomly switching stations on its own, prob an easy fix.

Body/Underneath:

Extremely well kept body, 100% rust free and is really straight, no major extreme noticabledents or scratches anywhere. Lastof the good looking square bodies in 87.Paint on cab is original black and still has a mirror finish when clean. Bed has been professionally repainted and matchedwithin last year or so. Underneath is very clean for a 30 year old truck and not being totally restored. With that being said it is mostly original and 30 years old. Has been babied but also driven and enjoyed. Has some minor spots that you really have to look at to see.

Suspension:

Has been dropped in the front 2.5 inches and has fairly new shocks

Wheels & Tires/Exhaust:

Has brand new less than 500 miles 18 inch mag American Racing Wheels wrapped in Goodyear Assurance Tires. Has a new within the year dual exhaust system that is not too loud or too quiet. Very nice.

Exterior trim/lights:

All exterior lights/turn signals/brake lights work. Has brand new trim on both sides and around fender wells. New rubber on windows etc. Trim on tailgate and grill etc are original.

Options:

Like stated in first paragraph it is a highly optioned truck

Includes: power steering, power/disk brakes, Dual tanks that still work and have two new pumps and lines, Tinted glass that is dark and nice, etc. can all be seen on ID card pic.

*****Comes with some extra goodies, can be seen in pic. New rubber for back window, triangle windows, interior facia plates that delete the grab handle, brand new door handles, etc. that I have not put on.

I have done my best to describe the truck and I'm sure I have missed some things. All I can say it is an exceptionally nice truck I have enjoyed, but ready to sell and get something else. I'm not a car dealer or a person looking to make a killing, I simply enjoy these old trucks and like having them.

Get it while the gettings good, I will take considerably less than what most of nice trucks are being advertised for on here. If its not sold the small things are going to be fixed overtime and I will obviously increase the price. This is an investment, value will only continue to go up and I do my best to sell at a price for other truck enthusiasts so they have room for improvement.

I have it set at auction andthe reserve is not much higher than the starting price, so bid away! I reserve the right to end auction early since it is also listed locally. With that being said I normally deal locally, and haven't used ebay much but have decided to try it lately. So don't have much history but I will do everything in my power to make it a great experience for anyone interested. Like I said I'm not here to scam anyone, just like these old trucks and always sell to get something else.

I will look at trades if you're into that, but not really wanting to go up, but will look. I like old Chevrolet trucks and am into cars a little bit. Also need a smaller car trailer than what I have now.
