1978 Chevrolet Camaro Description

Hello, Up for auction a 1978 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 4 speed car. This will make a great project for someone that has the skills to put this rare car back on the road. I have the original build sheet this was a special order car dark emerald green with 2 tone white interior and a factory 4 speed. Very loaded Z28 with rare color combination that I have never seen also it is a console delete car. This is a roller it is missing motor, transmission, radiator, inner front bumper, headlighttrimand front fender housings and maybe some misc. Very solid underneath only rust I noted was in the valance behind the rear bumper and rear quarter drop offs they are almost always rusted there. The passenger rocker panel has a large dent in it. Also the normal rust outside lower front fenders and lower rear quarters the wheel wells look solid. Doors shut perfect and are solid. Very straight overall does have some old body work near the sail panel area on passenger side. Trunk is 100% rust free and original insulation and trunk mat in place.

Interior is very good for original but will need work as you can see. Headliner very good as well as rear seats. Front passenger seat nice drivers has some ware but solid. Dash no cracks but has lifted needs re attached to the frame. Carpet could be cleaned and reused. Seat belts look great but will need a drivers belt it looks like it was cut. Dash looks intact along with the tilt steering column which will need a new key cylinder.Good solid star here most of these cars have been ravaged on the inside.

Car had the 350 4 barrel v8 along with the borg warner t10 4 speed. These part are not hard to find and can be purchased reasonably. This Z still retains its original suspension along with the important 3.73 limited slip rear axle.

Most important this Z28 has a good clear Kansas title.
