1977 Corvette L-82 Black/Tan ex Condition
1977 Chevrolet Corvette Description
Getting ready to move out of state with no room for this wonderful 1977 L-82 Corvette, I had almost all of the mechanicals done to this car and interior work to keep as my daily car. Things change. I started getting a body panel at a time stripped and repainted as a 40 year old Corvette paint does not last. It has paint cracking and some paint chips (not body damage as I have had doors, hood and rear bumper so far stripped and painted. No body damage, just paint cracking that is a presentable 8 footer, but normal for a 40 year old Corvette. Not fiberglass, it is CMC) that could be addressed or just driven. I put over $10,000.00 into this car and I drive it everywhere. Starting with mechanicals, in past 1,000 miles tranny was serviced, new Alternator, Water pump, all 6 U joints replaced, new motor and tranny mounts, intake on motor new gaskets, air filter, pvc, oil change and filter, riser hose, belts, all headlamp vacuum lines and control, new headlight switch, radiator flushed, all radiator and heater hoses replaced, heat control replaced with lines, new heater core, battery, new vacuum lines for heat, Defrost control, new OEM vacuum line switch, new dash top, new right side T top liner, new center console black top and sides, dash bulbs replaced, 4 new speakers with modern radio, new carpeting and mats, new sun visors and mounts, door panels and door pulls, rear compartment door pulls, upper arm bushing replaced, sway bar bushings, new brake master and vacuum, all brake calipers, pads and new front brake lines, new thermostat and gasket, new radiator cap, HEI cap and rotor replaced (chrome cover not put back but comes with car), new rubber around t tops and doors, new front wheel bearings, tires have under 1,000 miles, horn switch under cap replaced, cruise and factory alarm not yet working. I have put much more money into this car than it is worth, thinking I was keeping it but move is forcing me to sell. Frame and bird cage perfect and so clean. Car has American Racing mags. Could use to get steering wheel re finished, seats are actually an option "Corvette Velour" that is still usable. If you know Corvettes you will know what was done and the price is spot on, all work has been done for you, Take it anywhere! Make an offer! I am in Florida a lot and car is in New York. The best way to contact me is by EBay. Selling as-is but as described. I am back and forth a lot so if you win I will be back a few days after sale end.
