2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Coupe 2-Door Description

I am selling a 2008 Z06 that is unlike the majority of Z06, ZR1, Callaway, Hennessey, or Lingenfelter Corvettes. My Z06 was bought new by Paul Teutul Sr. of Orange County Choppers (OCC) from Les Stanford Chevrolet Cadillac Inc.. Right after purchase, Paul Sr. shipped it to Livernois Motorsports for personalized custom modifications. The car became a joint-venture project between Lear Corporation, Chip Foose, and Livernois Motorsports. Lear designed and installedan interior package that included Custom Red Leather Interior Hand-Crafted by Draexlmaier with Contender Performance Enhanced Corvette Seats. Chip Foose provided the powder coated C5 Motorsport wheels (to give the car a little bit of a unique look but still appear somewhat original)and Livernois did the following modifications:

  • Custom Camshaft Designed by Livernois Motorsports (Stage 2 LS7 Camshaft)
  • Livernois Motorsports Dual Valve Springs
  • Halltech Cold Air Intake System
  • Carbon Fiber Fuel Rails Covers
  • Kook’s Longtube Headers and X-Pipe w/ Hi-Flow Catalytic Converters
  • Corsa Catback Exhaust System
  • Livernois Motorsports Dyno Tuning rated at 600HP
In addition to the interior and performance upgrades, Livernoisalso gave the car a custom paint scheme designed by Paul Sr. which included the application of an OCC-designed body stripe, running the length of the Victory Red Z06 coupe. The final stepwas the reapplication of the clear coat, extensive wet-sanding, and careful buffing.

Here is a link that summarizes the build from Livernois Motorsports (including a video of the dyno test/results):

Upon completion from Livernois Motorsports, the car was used as a promotional caratthe 2007 SEMA show. Here is a link to the car at SEMA before the show began (note you may have to scroll through some pictures to picture #4):

Not only did the car cost a lot new, work done by Livernois, Lear, etc. was a no-expense-spared build. In talking with a representative from Livernois who worked on this car and delivered it upon completion, he thought the total of all the upgrades done easily exceeded $80k! It is quite possible, this car has over $150k put into it! The new buyer will get a one-owner Corvette that has been celebrity owned, a car that has 5515 original miles, a SEMA car, 600HP, and a Z06 that is different than any other in the world. This is a chance to own a collectible carthat is a blast to drive orunique enough to warrant huge attention at any car show.

Here is a YouTube video of a start up at Livernois Motorsports:

On top of the performance and cosmetic upgrades, the base Z06 car has many options including the 7.0 liter 427 motor, 6 speed manual transmission, air conditioning, power windows, door locks, windows, seats, etc...The car runs and drives amazing! The interior smells new. The brakes, glass, etc. are great. The car is not so radical that you could not drive it daily. The paint shines and is free of dings or major imperfections. If you wanted to drive it across the country, you would have a blast doing it. If you want it to become a trailer queen, it will present well at any show. It is a no excuses rig.

The title is an open NY title still in the name of Paul Sr.. I also have the original purchase paperwork between Paul Sr. and Les Stanford Chevrolet Cadillac Inc. which includes initial vehicle cost new. The new vehicle owner will get a Paul Sr. autographed 2007 SEMA promotional handout which describes the car and the companies who worked together to build it (Livernois, Foose, Lear, and Draxlmaier).

With all of this said, the vehicle is being sold "as-is" with no set asides or guarantees. The car has only 5515 miles, but is still a used car. The factory warranty expired long ago. If Chevy/GM does not warranty it, neither can I. I encourage any potential buyers to come see it in person as the pictures do not do it justice. I welcome any buyers/mechanics to come see it prior to auction end. I live approximately 30 minutes from the Portland Airport. I have a perfect Ebay rating and plan on keeping it perfect by being as up front as possible. If you have any questions, please call me at 503-703-4065. Thanks for looking.
