1973 Chevrolet Corvette 350 V8 WITH RARE FACTORY HARDTOP! Description

West Coast Classics are proud to present a great example of this reportedly 54K original miles & matching #'s L48 350/195HP V8 engine 1973 Chevrolet Corvette in its original 'Classic White' (Code 910) color with only one professional repaint since new and its original 'Dark Red' vinyl trim (Code 125) matched with its original Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission and power steering, power brakes, AM/FM radio/cassette, luggage rack, rally wheels, a new black soft top and it's rare original auxiliary factory hardtop! The third generation 'Shark' in the years of the first energy crisis had a two-stage transitional facelift with the '73 being unique among 'Vettes for combining a smooth body color nose with the original '68 vintage 'Kamm' tail and chrome bumper.
The cars original 'Classic White' factory color repaint is very good and the original 'Dark Red' vinyl interior and the trim is in absolutely exceptional condition throughout. The car has a new Black convertible soft top and a matching factory white hardtop and has obviously always been mostly garaged with absolutely no signs or history of any accidents! All the options are working as they should including all gauges and lights.
The car was sold to us as being an original matching #'s car from and had obvious reputable ownership since 2005 when the car was purchased at the Barrett Jackson auction in Scottsdale, AZ for $24,200 and where it had been sold reported to be of show quality and to also be a matching #'s car which had one family owner since new.
Please note that as typically happens over the years, the block was obviously previously decked by a machine shop during an earlier engine rebuild and the engine assembly date and suffix codes were unfortunately mostly removed by the machining process and we are therefore unable to confirm that without a doubt the engine is original to the car or not but judging from the statements of the reported two previous owners we have no reason to believe otherwise.
In any case this is obviously one very fine example of this classic American sports car - a beautiful 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster with an engine that purrs smoothly under the hood and an automatic transmission that shifts smoothly through all the gears - an absolute pleasure to drive without any of the older and generally much higher mileage Corvette typical shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day sports car a run for its money. The most recent owner kept records of his extensive preventive maintenance on the car showing many thousands of dollars spent in it's meticulous upkeep. No required or even suggested repair or maintenance was denied this particular car!
The L48 350/195HP V8 cylinder engine is extremely strong and this is a great opportunity to own a well kept and maintained example of an early seventies Corvette with its reported original matching #'s engine in great daily driving condition for any Corvette or classic American muscle car enthusiast to enjoy today!
