I placed an order and received this red Camaro SS in March 2013.It has some unique features such as the factory painted engine cover and the factory Hurst Shifter along with the 2SS loaded equipment package.
After delivery I didnt like the shift knob feel and opted to put a special Speed Dawg round Camaro SS ball knob that took care of that.The little SS red emblems were carefully removed from the stock egg crate grill and the side of the rear trunk lid then placed appropriately on either interior door panel. The front grill was removed and upgraded to the SS grill in matching red.I found some unique billett SS badges that resemble the 69 design theme of this car and placed them in the center of the grill and rear tail panel.Some time after that I chased down a guy at a local car show that had the blade rear spoiler on his car next to mine at the local car show and he said it was a factory piece. That went on that Christmas.I never planned to sell this car ever, have had 13 Camaros. This is the best ever Ive owned and much prefer the body style to what they just came out with. LIfe is ever changing as it sits in my air conditioned garage. The odometer reads 8348 miles of sunny day only driving. Mostly car events ... My daughter announced last week that Im gonna be a Grandpa and it appears that I feel its time to get a larger vehicle to take us places. The back seat works well in a pinch but I wouldnt chose it for a distance myself.The car is as clean and perfect as Ive ever seen. Im a dealer by profession and always keep a comparitive eye as such. With such low miles and garaged always as it has, it smells new. I chose not to go to the dealer and have the flip key changed to flat key for the recall. You can if you like. It comes with both of them. I wanted a Hotwheels Camaro but after looking them over I preferred a red car and added the matching logos on either side for a nice touch.
