Extra's, Low mile!! 4x4, 2nd owner clean title, Extended cab, LS, Clean, No Rust
2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS Description
Going once ... Going twice ... Clean Title, 2nd owner .. Note: $2300- of recent add on improvements (see below)
Excellent vehicle, just bought a slightly more family friendly vehicle.
Easily 1-2 years worth of miles driving difference between mine and most similarly priced. Many dealer examples I have seen have rusted out panels, and frayed clear coat .. not this!
No body damage or repair & not used as plow truck that I am aware of.
Less than 63k actual miles.(may change, minimal driving expected)
Reliable 5.3L V8, all deeper maintenance done (transmission fluids, differentials, transfer case). I take care of my vehicles.
Cloth interior, in excellent shape, seats & carpets recently shampooed.
WeatherTech floor liners from a 2007 (minor fit discrepancy)
Brakes are mostly new in last 10k,
New Battery fall 2016
New emergency rear brake shoes 1/17.
1 caliper replaced 1 yr ago,
Driver side front hub replaced last fall.
Steering is tight, SMOOTH suspension, car like ride.
AC is cold, Heat blows nice n toasty!
Engine purrs, no smoke, no engine oil use between changes (regular 3500-4K w/10w30 per manual)
Transmission shifts smoothly as it should.
Add-ons:
Tonno-Pro soft top/hard underside cover, 1 yr old, actual paid value $575-
Bedbox liner, came w/vehicle. Installed Locking tailgate mechanism $35-
6.5' truck bed has Rustoleum sealant applied, (no rust, only preventive) $50-
upgraded 17" alloy LT wheels (therefore speedo reading of 70mph is now 74 actual), tires & wheels $1400-
Bridgestone Dueler Alenza HT. 75% tread (wheels & tires put on at 50k) ---------------/
Rear fender wells have rubber liners & cross member has plastic bung hole plugs installed. $100-
Silver trim rings were added for style, NOT because rusted, doubly wax sealed under trim before adding them. $100-
K&N type breather box/cleanable filter added on in take, have original if you prefer, (simple to revert). $90-
Likely one of the top condition trucks for this age, but as w any 10+ yr old vehicle expect a few small blemishes: small scrape passenger door (2" long) just below window trim (touch up repainted), Grill has small crack on passenger side near headlight previous owner pulled too hard when removing, radio/cd/rear speakers work always, but front speakers go in & out (maybe loose wire?), users group says this is common. Driver rear taillight has minor edge crack in top corner (does not affect function) BTW .. carpet on floor hump is not stained as passenger pic looks, must be raised nap during photo.
Light use during my ownership. Typical highway mile use. Pulled 19' boat to local lake maybe 6'x over last 2 years.
