2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Description

Nice Chevy Heavy Duty Pickup with the 6.6L Duramax Diesel and Allison Automatic Transmission. 4x4 floor shift. Owned and maintained by State government - very clean and great running condition. Brand New Transfer case installed (comes with warranty) - good inspection. A/C, AM/FM, front bucket seats, strobe light and back rack. Full size (8ft) bed with liner. Starts easily, runs great. Few small issues - headliner loose on the driver's side, wheel speed sensor on front driver tire intermittently triggers the ABS light - no problem with drive or inspection though. Rear tailgate handle is not connected to the latch rod - but the rod works and the tailgate is easily opened of closed. No leaks, all lights, etc. work - only little surface rust on the bumper and carriage and some clear coat paint peeling on the hood - see photos. Otherwise in very good condition.

I've owned the truck and driven it with no issues after having the transmission transfer case replaced. I would keep it, but I'm looking for a bigger - crew cab truck with cruise control.
