59xxx original mile 5.7 TPI 1989 Camaro IROC-Z t-top car. I drove it on a 700 mile round trip recently and it performed flawlessly with the A/C on the entire time.
It has a:
-Harris Stage 1 performance chip-Magnaflow muffler-Michelin Pilot Sport tires with less than 3000 miles-Upgraded SouthBay Bosch 22lb fuel injectors-Great A/C and heat, and rear defroster works.
Unmolested and never driven hard.
Has a clean title and CarFax dating to 1994, receipts for parts, and has always been garaged. Zero rust in the quarters, fenders, rockers, etc. Surface rust on the crossmember, a-arms like 99.9% of cars on the road, but certainly no actual rust.Previous owner had it painted very well within past five years, with all decals reapplied. It still glows and is in very good shape.
-No tears in upholstery-Has retractable storage area privacy cover and t-top bag.
-New iridium spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor (all less than 500 miles, US-parts)-Timing and TPS set-IAC and throttle body cleaned-New fuel filter-New hood struts-New battery and 1/0 gauge negative battery cable.
Full-disclosure downsides (none of which are major):-Trip odometer does not workdash crack on the left speaker vent and on left corner of dash (see photos of interior).-The tune is a rich on start-up, and combined with GM's notorious 80's valve stem seals, it will smoke a bit on startup. However, it never smokes otherwise and does not burn oil or leak onto my garage floor.-The headliner is not torn and the board does not sag at all, although the fabric is beginning to sag.-The upper window stops should be adjusted. They were set too high by the previous owner and catch the weatherstripping if rolled up more than about 98%-Will come with original Delco U1C-option CD player (current budget Sony headunit will be removed). The CD player wants to spit CD's back out and the clock cuts out occasionally. However, the radio works. I may include a Delco cassette radio from another 89 IROC as well.
Limited slip/posi rear end, great paint with all decals, doors that do not sag at all, and 4 wheel disc brakes. For years my hobby has been getting old muscle cars back on the road, and this is not my first 89 IROC - this car has been gone through and runs great.
Any questions, feel free to e-mail me and I will respond quickly.
