I drove this 1999 two-door Tahoe Sport off the showroom floor. It has spent it's entire life in either Texas or Southern California and has always been garaged. Driven only 114,400 miles in it's lifetime, most of those on the highway. Truck is push-button 4x4 and includes the factory Z-71 Off road package.
It has been meticulously maintained and cared for - I have a detailed file with receipts, dating back to the original window sticker. Just spent $350 to replace hoses, a thermostat, intake manifold and a leaking gasket.
It fires up on the first turn and idles quietly. Drives straight and true, no pings or knocks. AC blasts cold. I wouldn't hesitate drive cross-country. Gets more and more compliments the older it gets.
Keep in mind it is a eighteen year old truck and has a handful of chips/dents/imperfections. The interior is in good condition. The driver's bottom seat is worn, as is the armrest. Carpet is incredibly clean for the age. Rear seat leather and carpet look new. Cargo carpet has some stains but I've covered with a heavy duty mat for the past ten years.
Truck has never been off-road and never abused.The only 'mod' is the aftermarket stereo - I still have the original and it will be included in the sale if you wish. Tires have plenty of tread. All lights, turn signals, latches, etc, function as they should.
It was always garaged while in Southern California - at work or at home. And while in Texas, from 2011-2015, it was always garaged, while driven periodically.
