This is a1966 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa that was an original unmolested SoCal car with approximately 66,000 miles when bought in 2010.
It is a genuine Corsa, with VIN and build plate to match.
Between 2011-2015 it underwent a complete mechanical and cosmetic restoration.
Being sold by current owner, not a dealer or wholesaler.
This car has been driven about 500 miles since the mechanical rebuild. Starts, runs, and drives great.

- (* = I consider original seats to be dangerous because they have no headrest and the backs are not locked meaning they can tilt forward in a frontal crash. The ProCar seats are very comfortable. They are not cheepand are correct left & right installed with ProCar mounting adapters.)

COSMETICS: Car was painted candy red in 2012. The paint job is a solid A- quality. There are a few scratches and some orange peel, but no rust.At left rear quarter panel there is a quarter-sized ding where a shopping cart bumped it. If the auction meets reserve, I will have this ding repaired. And there is a small paint imperfection (not rust) on the front cowl. Few dust nibs that I have decided to leave alone.
-Lower exhaust grill is a 1965 style with NOS dual bright aluminum grilles. My personal preference was to use the ’65 style. A painted 1966 grille with NOS correct single bright aluminum grille is available.

My reserve is nowhere near this range.

IMPORTANT:This is a 51 year old that deserves to be driven and preserved by someone who appreciates vintage Chevy iron. This car is simple to maintain, seeps only a tiny amount of oil (most likely from a pushrod seal that can easily be replaced if you wish to do so).
