1964 Chevrolet C-10 PICKUP - SHORT BED Description

Hi,

I am selling my 1964 C-10 Original Short-bed.

Garaged, rust free Califorina C-10 short-bed. This truck has a 327 Chevy small block with 3.73 gears and a brand new 200R overdrive automatic transmission. The odometer reads 78,728 miles. According to the previous second owner those numbers are accurate. This C-10 short-bed has been my pride and joy for a little over two years now. I have put my blood, sweat and tears into this truck and will hate to see it go. I am selling the truck because my fiancé and I are getting married this November and possibly moving back to the east coast near the beach. I may or may not have a garage to keep the truck in to protect it from the snow and salt air.

I purchased this truck in early 2015 from the second owner who was located in Riverside, CA The truck was used as a “shop truck”. The previous owner owned his own mechanic shop where the truck lived. The truck was kept indoors and out of any harsh weather elements for all of it’s life. This is not my first classic vehicle so I knew what I was looking at when I came across this C-10. Before I purchased the truck, I had the truck sent to a local mechanic shop to preform a pre-purchase inspection on the truck in order to double check the everything including the engine/oil pressure. Everything checked our. I knew the truck needed some cosmetic work and TLC but nothing I couldn't handle at the time.

ATTENTION this truck is NOT brand new. It has some minor imperfections.

The paint has two small bubbles and a minor chip on the hood. Along the inside of the tailgate it has some very light scratches. The back right rim has paint chips do to some paint thinner splatter. The front parking lights are currently not working. I had them looked at and the mechanic told me it needs a new wiring harness. The tailgate does NOT have the daisy chains to fold down the tailgate. The JVC radio works with iPad cable only. Cigarette lighter does not work. The radio is a bit loose and not properly secured into the dashboard. The inside carpet is a bit older.
