Up for sale is a car that has been my baby for many years now, but the time has come for us to part ways. I don't drive it anymore and unfortunately I need the cash to buy a truck so it only makes sense to sell it to someone that'll get to drive it more often and enjoy the car rather than have it just sit in the garage for the rest of its life. I've owned this car since 2008, it's a 2005 and has just over 55,300 miles on it, VIN is 1G1YY24U555111666. I have both keys and key fobs as well as the factory owner manual and the wheel lock key, all which will come with the car. I originally built this car back when I lived in Indiana, where emissions weren't even a consideration which is partly the reason for listing it on ebay since it won't even come close to passing smog here in CA. That being said, if you buy this intending to title it in CA I can NOT give you a smog certificate because it does not pass. My intention is to sell it to someone that lives somewhere where that doesn't matter. No check engine lights, no weird noises, no leaks. The car is in very good shape for the age and miles. Always garaged, never seen snow or salt, hardly even knows what water is other than what comes out of the hose to wash it. I own the car free and clear with a clean title, no loans or liens etc, no funny business. I'm really hoping this car goes to someone that will enjoy having something a little bit different than the average C6 and will have a blast driving it. Rear wheel horsepower is in the upper 400s to 500 range but I've never had it dynoed reliably, the only place I ever tried had the brakes on the dyno drums hung up and it still managed to put down 425rwhp on a crap tune (has since been retuned by my friend at a certain Lingen of felter :)).

Maintenance stuff:Oil changed 80 miles/10 days ago with Mobil 1 full synthetic 5W-30Brand new interstate battery less than 6 months ago
Things that in my opinion it needs:A new owner (you) lol
Possibly a voltage regulator or alternator. I think from sitting so long it either has a dead diode in the alternator or possibly just a loose ground connection somewhere because it seems to loose about 0.2v per day when just sitting and not on a tender/charger. Will occassionally give the "service charging system" warning when sitting at idle, however will go away and charge great when the rpms are up just a tad like on the highway cruising at 1800 rpm. My guess is maybe just an alternator but like I said, I don't really drive it much and if I keep it on a charger it's always fine and won't kill the battery while driving it, just seems to mostly be when sitting and off.
New rear tires. The fronts are pretty decent but the rears are on the wear bars now. It's still drivable but it would be much more fun with new shoes, otherwise it just doesn't hook up at all. That's about all I can think of that needs to be said, the pictures and videos should hopefully be worth more than a thousand words so please look at the pictures and videos. Thank you for your interest and hopefully she's off to a great new home.
