1989 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 3500 Silverado Description

The Good The Bad The Ugly..

Good:

Truck shows to have +/- 123,000 miles and 92 Dodge Cummins engine Conversion, Engine originally from a 5 speed truck approx 150k miles. New rear main seal. Recent Performance shop upgrades and service includes New 50HP Industrial injectors, New front engine case, 3k gov spring installed, fuel pin and various gaskets changed, side access and pan gasket. New Power steering pump, new hyd assist master cylinder. Smaller exhaust housing turbo swapped for quicker spooling. New Thermostat and gasket, new radiator, new AC compressor. New Pro Comp 6-8" Lift shocks and extended stainless brake lines, Sky Jacker drop pitman arm and Dana 60 block to correct steering geometry. Intercooler and and Intake horn are 94-98 Dodge. Rebuilt Dodge Auto trans with overdrive (on switch) and Dodge 205 transfer case. All glass in good condition, body is solid and rust free (some surface rust). All Doors recently aligned and shut very nice. New drivelines front and back. Interior is nice shape (7 out of 10). Nice aftermarket aluminum 16"wheels with used 36" tires. I've only driven the truck roughly 200 miles. New Battery, new fuel pump, new hoses.

Bad:

Drivers side tank only converted to Diesel, need to convert passenger side in order to switch tanks- tank switch valve operates as it should but unhooked until conversion completed. Head liner needs replaced, headliner there and saved the old covering for template to make new one. Needs a paint job, the original clear coat is peeling off and I pressure washed most of it off but it will need paint. Tires are OK and will last for some time but they are Super swampers and are not street friendly. I have added balancing beads to both front tires to help with vibration. Transfer case is leaking at seal, I added a speedy sleeve to the yoke but it still leaks.

Ugly:

It needs paint, very cool and straight body but with the conversion stripes and clear that was added after factory it will need sanded and painted. Dash is cracked under pad.
