2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic Description
MY WIFE AND I SPEND WINTERS IN ARKANSAS AND WE BOUGHT THIS TRUCK IN FEBRUARY. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN AN ARKANSAS AND MISSOURI TRUCK. SOLD NEW AT BALES CHEVROLET IN LITTLE ROCK, THEN IN 2013 IT WENT TO MISSOURI. THERE IS NO RUST, AND THE MILES MUST BE HIGHWAY MILES BECAUSE IT STILL RUNS, DRIVES, AND HANDLES REALLY WELL. WE DROVE IT BACK TO VERMONT THIS SPRING PULLING A 1-CAR TRAILER WITH AN OLD PICKUP ON IT - PULLS REALLY WELL! IT HAS THE ELECTRIC BRAKE CONTROL STILL HOOKED UP WHICH COMES WITH THE TRUCK. PAINT STILL LOOKS VERY GOOD, THERE IS A SPOT ON TOP OF THE DRIVER'S DOOR WHERE THE CLEARCOAT IS PEELING. WE PUT A NEW WINDSHIELD IN IT HERE IN VERMONT AND THEN IT PASSED A VERMONT SAFETY INSPECTION. OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY, ALWAYS READS THE SAME PRESSURE RATHER THE ENGINE IS RUNNING, OR NOT WITH JUST THE KEY ON. TIRES ARE MAYBE 50 OR 60% SO AT SOME POINT IT WILL NEED NEW TIRES. THE FRONT RAIL OF THE BED IS BOWED, SOMETHING MUST HAVE HIT IT TO BEND IT FORWARD - YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURE HOW IT'S CURVED. THE TAILGATE HANDLE IS BROKEN, THE TAILGATE DOES OPEN IF YOU PLAY WITH THE HANDLE - WOULD BE AN EASY FIX.
THE AUTOCHECK SAYS THAT THE TRUCK WAS IN AN ACCIDENT WITH RIGHT FRONT DAMAGE IN 2013 IN MISSOURI. THE TITLE IS A MISSOURI "REPOSSESSED" TITLE, SHOWING THAT IT WAS REPOSSESSED BY STATE FARM BANK IN NOV. OF 2016. OBVIOUSLY THERE IS SOME NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR ON THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR, BUT OVERALL IT'S A VERY CLEAN NICE LOOKING TRUCK THAT YOU CAN BE PROUD TO DRIVE!! WE HAVE PUT ALMOST 5,000 MILES ON THE TRUCK OURSELVES, AND WE FEEL SO CONFIDANT IN IT'S DEPENDABILITY THAT WE CHOSE IT FROM AMONG ALL OF OUR VEHICLES WE HAVE IN INVENTORY TO TAKE AN 800 MILE TRIP TO BAR HARBOR, MAINE AND BACK TO VERMONT.
THANKS FOR LOOKING! THE RESERVE IS LOW! SINCE WE ARE A VERMONT DEALER WE CAN DO VERMONT REGISTRATIONS OR WE CAN GIVE YOU AN INTRANSIT PAPER PLATE FOR YOU TO DRIVE IT BACK TO YOUR STATE.
On May-28-17 at 05:58:13 PDT, seller added the following information:I BELIEVE THAT IT'S THE OIL GAUGE, NOT THE SENDING UNIT, THAT ISN'T WORKING PROPERLY. IT HAS BEEN THIS WAY SINCE WE BOUGHT THE TRUCK ALMOST 5,000 MILES AGO. WHEN YOU TURN ON THE KEY, THE GAUGE GOES UP AND WHEN YOU START THE ENGINE, IT STAYS IN THAT SAME POSITION. I WAS TOLD THAT MEANS IT'S THE GAUGE ITSELF - THE GAUGE SHOULDN'T MOVE UP UNTIL THE ENGINE IS RUNNING. ENGINE RUNS FINE AND IS NOT NOISY, WITH NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS ON. I'LL BE GLAD TO TRY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE ABOUT THE TRUCK. THANKS.
