2000 Chevrolet Tahoe Limited - Custom Show Truck
2000 Chevrolet Tahoe Limited Description
One of a kind, bagged, lowrider, custom 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe Limited show truck. Car is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, with the exception of a few dings and scrapes on the body, as well as a large horizontal crack on the windshield.
I've included pictures to best depict the overall condition of the truck. If you like to see something specifically or have any questions, please ask.List of customizations include:
- Full air suspension. Currently wired for front and back, but 3/8" valves on each corner if FBSS is preferred. 2 tanks, 2 ViAir compressors, Dakota digital pressure monitoring system, Ridetech "AirBar" 4-link suspension in the back.
- Custom body work, including shaved door handles and Cadillac taillights. Aftermarket roll pan, and a high quality paint job.
- 20" Chrome wheels with fairly new Dunlap Direzza DZ102 245/40ZR-20 tires (roughly 8k miles on tires).
- Custom stereo including all Alpine equipment - flip-out DVD head unit, DVD player, 6 CD changer, VCR, headrest TVs, and 5-channel Alpine amplifier. Center console is ready to receive 10" subwoofer. I previously had a JL W7 sub installed in the center console, but this has been removed and does not come with the car. Additionally, there was previously a JL 500/1 amp to power the sub that also does not come with the car.
- Interior includes custom carbon fiber accent pieces on dash, overhead console, and door panels. Also features custom chrome sill plates and chrome pedals.
- Custom MagnaFlow exhaust with oval tip.
- Viper alarm system with remote integrated with door solenoids (to pop open doors).
- Aftermarket plush floor mats.
List of recent services or replaced parts:
- Just replaced the front upper ball joints and struts. Front lower ball joints were replaced last year.
- Front brake rotors and pads replaced last year.
- Tires replaced 8k miles ago.
- Battery replaced last year.
List of known issues:
- One compressor for air suspension is not kicking on when tank pressure drops. The other compressor can compensate, but it takes longer for the tanks to fill.
- Parasitic battery drain. If the car is parked for more than a few days without being hooked up to a trickle charger, the battery voltage is too low to start vehicle.
- Back passenger door solenoid is not firing, requiring the door to be opened from the inside.
- Occasionallythe 6-disc changer will display "ERROR 01". Removing the disc magazine and reinserting appears to resolve this issue.
