Gas. Automatic transmission. 4 wheel drive. 6.0L engine.
Power steering, power brakes, power windows, cruise control, A/C.
$1,000 worth of new tires with less than 1000 miles on them, less than a year old.
Rocker panels and cab corners have been replaced.
The A/C does not work, nor does the cruise control.
Has some rust, but runs good.
Bed of truck is rusted through in a few spots. Piece of plywood covering rust holes solves the issue.
There are new factory gas lines on the truck, which are 3 years old. And it has $300 worth of stainless steel brake lines which will not rust.
There are two lights showing on the dash that were on when we bought the vehicle 4 years ago from a friend -- the air bag light and the ABS -- both of which are fuse issues, and common with these trucks. Neither light ever affected obtaining a yearly NYS inspection. Was not important for us to fix since they did not affect the operation of the truck in any way.
NADA Blue Book value of this truck -- without new tires on it as this one has -- in good condition, is $5600. Fair condition is $4900. We consider this truck between good and fair condition, and how we arrived at the asking price of $4999.
