1955 Chevy Gasser Project Bel Air/210/150
1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 150 Gasser Description
Selling a 1955 Gasser Project car. The car has been set up, but still needs lots of assembly to complete the project.
Great start for a project car with minimal rust. Trunk and both inner and outer rockers, and cross members appear to be in good shape. The floor in the drivers section and the passenger section should be replaced. The car comes with replacement panels. The floor behind the passenger section has already had replacement patched in, but it is a rough job and should probably be replaced as well.
The motor is rebuilt and has never been started. Don't know a lot of specifics on the motor other than it is the "010" high nickel block. What literature we have indicates the motor is a 4 bolt main, and the VIN numbers on the block indicate that it came from a 2500, or a 3500 truck. The 4 speed Saginaw transmission is rebuilt as well.
The rear end is a 10 bolt posi-traction unit.
Front and rear glass are in good shape, but the sides will need to be replaced.
Will make a very cool '55 Gasser when complete.
