2005 Chevrolet Express Quigley 4X4 Description

Super cool family hauler! Powerful: we tow a full trailer with 9 people in the van over mountain passes without difficulty. Seats up to 11 people with the removable rear jump seat. Equipped with the optional 6.0L GM LS engine. It runs amazingly strong and smooth on the highways and also has the safety and security of a true 4x4 when needed (see Quigley website for more info). The 4X4 with aggressive tires allows confident driving across snow covered roads.
Exterior: Grey body looks great against the black nerf bars, 17" moto metal rims and black trim. Windows are privacy tinted. The running boards/nerf bars make it easy to get in and out of the van. Tow package. There are also 2 removable front lights that are combined 30 million candle power.
Interior: This van was completely converted by a limo shop: dynamat insulation, beige vinyl and suede covering most surfaces, both front seats are power, 2 middle swivel captain chairs, rear front facing bench seats 4 and removable rear facing bench seats 3. All seats are black suede with a diamond stitch pattern and the edges are in beige vinyl for durability. Black carpet throughout.Lighting: On the inside there are 3 series of LED lights. Gives interior a limo feel.
Stereo/Audio Video: There are 3 TVs including a Kenwood DVD player in dash (DDX 419) and two 12" flip down DVD/ monitors. There are two Alpine amps, 10 speakers and a 10" alpine pro subwoofer. The potential bass is crazy. The amps are tucked neatly behind a custom rear subpanel with storage and LED lighting. There is the usual ipod connection, blue tooth, hands free phone and a toggle switch to turn off/on the front TV while driving.
Defects: 1. minor dings/scratches on body of van, nothing major. 2. Left rear plastic mold panel next to the tail light is cracked. It has been cracked for 3+ years without any changes. 3. The rear bench has an electronic motor to lay it down, but it is stuck. I was told it needs a $120 part to repair it, but we've never felt the need to use it. 4. The 2nd rear DVD/monitor is not working, probably needs to be replaced. 5. Generally the interior could use some tightening up with some of the trim and side panels. At most, I would think a $500 job to get it like new. 6. The 2nd side barn door that we never open is stiff at the hinges and needs to be removed and relubed to open.
Most importantly, this van runs strong with full passenger load and towing a trailer. The Quigley 4x4 is a $13,000 option and is awesome for snowy road conditions or off-roading. The van looks awesome as well!
